I'm a bit quiet on the new music front, but I am quietly expecting on a few albums by established bands. I've mentioned before that I am on a Wilco kick at the moment. I think the next album I will buy will be Bang goes the Knighthood by The Divine Comedy. Neil Hannon is a quality songwriter, though he has a little too much of a penchant for the novelty tune for my liking. The new single is pretty good. Again it's a little kitschy, but a decent tune with an uplifting key change about 2/3rds of the way in. It's a really rubbish music video though!

TBH all that does is make me want to listen to the Isely Brothers... ;)
Heard this on 24/7 a few weeks ago

Got the album, it's not really what I expected based off that track but good none the less

'For the love of you' is one of my favourite songs :)
Fuck it... There's only one way I can truly rep NEW MUSIC the way I see it:
Rusko - Hold On (Sub Focus Remix)

They sound nothing like one another?! ;D Still Rucko live, I'd like to see that. Where'd you catch him? His stuff is kinda non-stop banging. I grew up on my mums Dub collection i.e as in King Tubby etc so while I ain't necessarily mad for Dub-Step, some of it takes me back to them days still.
This one for example, I can really appreciate:

Anyway... Swindle is another guy doing big things.... Check this out:

Oh and if you like Dub-Step then it's safe to assume your are at least 50% junglist?

its hard to find new music that is decent nowadays. my taste it a little off though.
when I burn a cd for my car it will have a mix that goes something like
sublime
metallica
beatles
sinatra
marley
elvis
and some old school rap like some nwa or biz markie
its some pretty messed up mixes
I've been listening to Michael Nyman all day. I downloaded a load of random different stuff and I have to say that fair chunks of it are quite fantastic. I don't really know much about classical music, but his stuff is very accessible and some of the structures and melodies are exquisite.

Anything by 'you me at six'! and 'we the kings'!
