Wow, thats sounds absolutely amazing. I remember a while back watching a realy good program, think it was based in Somerset if I remember right. They had two trackers / fur trapper chaps come over from Canada to search out certain places and look at evidence and photos. One of the guys was a Canadian called Mike Jones I think and the other dude was actually a british guy who had been working as a cat trapper in canada for the last 20 years or something. They weren't covinced by the evidence that they saw that anything was kicking around in Somerset anyways...

How cool would it be to add Panthers to australias list of deadly animals lol
Damn good point man. I find the idea of living in amongst that kinda game in Aus a bit daunting to say the least man...

Magician, there was a rumour that a few had been seen around Buxton in the 60s. also the Roaches where the Wallabies were, often wonder how many are left.

Well, it kinda fucking sucks when they kill your pets. I never saw either cat again after that day, but there were the big claw marks in the tree in the backyard. There is lots of wildlife around here. If you go hiking etc. just outside of the city, you're in bear and cougar country, but they're rarely seen and it's extremely rare that they cause any injuries or deaths.

I think they have been confirmed to be living down here in Devon. Exmoor has had literally dozens of sightings and farm animals killed over the years. They even sent the army in to shoot them a couple decades ago. As has been said above they are just survivor offspring of animals released onto the moors in the 70's after animal licensing laws came into effect. I doubt there are very many, but I'm pretty certain they are they out there, sadly the only cryptids that are.
