Wlad not giving him a shit deal?

Because it would lock him into some weak deal. However, If Haye beats Wlad, and there is no "fight my brother clause," Haye will have enormous bargaining power, and will be able to negotiate a much better deal for himself in the subsequent Vitali fight.
Remeber when Holyfield gave up a substantial amount of money for the first Tyson fight, in order to avoid a rematch clause.
Then after he beat Tyson, Don King had to negotiate with Holyfield for a rematch, and holyfield had the much better bargaining posistion.
Meanwhile
After Albert Sonsowski KOs Vitali, I think he should look for a 60/40 split with Wlad. He'll have much better bargaining power. How much do you think he is getting paid for this fight first?
Haye may just have a slightly better chance of beating Wlad than Sonsowski beating Vitali. Mostly because we have seen Wlad get KOed on three occasions by bums. We are lucky these fights aren't swapped. Otherwise, I'd give Haye zero chance until Vitali gets around 42yrs! And Sonsowski is truly almost a bum, and completely qualifies as the next in line to knock the dust off of Wlads dome!!
Ah Christ here we go. Haye dropped out of the first fight because of money correct? How much did he make to fight Valuev? From what I understand he didn't make the same amount but much less to fight Valuev. Only to pick up a paper belt. I've said this before. How much money did Buster Douglas get to fight Mike Tyson? A lousy $10,000. He trained hard and knocked Tyson out. His next fight coming in fat and out of shape(not his fault) Made 25 million for Evander. So IMO I would take the low end to fight Wlad, knock him out (because that's what he will do correct?) then fight for millions against big brother Vitali.
I am very curious to see the original contract of how much he was going to make. Then the contract that will be set-up for this fight.
The fights going to happen so stop wetting your self.
You're not comparing like with like there thought. Buster Douglas was really one of the guys on the fringe of the heavyweight scene, had picked up a few good wins and some defeats along the way in his career, and was never expected to beat Tyson. Haye on the other hand is a former unified cruiserweight champion who has come up to heavyweight, KO'd a couple of gatekeepers, and claimed the share of the heavyweight title which the Klitshko's had neglected. He's also made no secret of his desire to only have a couple more fights before retiring with all his faculties intact. If he takes a tiny share of the deal with Wlad it would just be stupid business practice.
While I know Sky TV want Haye to face Audley Harrison and Tomas Adamek, I think a 50/50 deal with Wlad which has been rumoured is the way to go. Get the Wlad fight over and done with and then take out the small fry.
