According to reports, Mayorga will face Felix Sturm in September for his WBA "Super" title. I guess King didn't want to jeopardize the Sturm match by having Mayorga in a cage fight where he could potentially get injured/cut.
September is a long way off though. That means King won't have got Mayorga a fight for exactly two years!
