Re: Friday Night Fight Night (25th June)
Considering the wake up call Fury got last time youd expect him to come into this fight in shape and focused but we didnt. What that suggests is that when he is up against it in the future he wont be able to raise his game because he isnt good enough. If thats the best he can do I dont see him progressing past English title level.
He was gasping for breath and his balance was the worse Ive seen from any fighter, he holds onto ropes, falls around and looks very poor boxing off the front or back foot. If he was up against a quality operator you could understand why he was made to look bad but he was fighting big fat John Mcdermot whos greatest acheivements have been losing twice to a washed up Danny Williams and being blown away in 1 round by a 40 year old Matt Skelton.
Fury proved that he is all hype last night and he replaces Audley as our biggest joke fighter.
Re: Friday Night Fight Night (25th June)
Did anyone see Furys Ali shuffle showboating nonsense in the 2nd round? You really need to be in stellar shape to pull off that look, he looked ridiculous
Re: Friday Night Fight Night (25th June)
Yeah and he fell off balance straight after which was shameful. Add that the list of cringe worthy things he has done along with punching himself in the face. And this guy has the cheek to call Audley and Dirrell a B**ch?
He also tried the foot tap that Roy Jones did vs Clinton Woods. Fury was full of it in the early rounds. Little did he know that in a couple rounds he would be struggling for breath and hanging on for dear life against Mcdermot of all people ;D He did Roy Jones and Ali proud
