What are you on about? Wlad is fighting his IBF #1 Contender MANDATORY and this is happening only after a certain loud mouthed trinket holder didn't accept a sweetheart deal from Wladimir...he brushed off Wlad to fight Audley fucking Harrison, and you want to tell me that Wlad-Povetkin is "pointless"?!?! Wlad has ALWAYS sought out the top competition!
Ok matey if you could just direct me to a link or article that shows the offer that Haye turned down, or some hard evidence that it was Haye that turned down the fight.
While you're at it can you point me to your post where you lambast Pacquiao for not taking a 60/40 with floyd.
Cheers.

Dan Rafael reported (amongst a whole host of other writers and reporters) that YOUR BOY turned down 50/50 vs Wladimir. Let me ask you, will Chicken Little make more money and achieve more in the sport by fighting Audley Harrison or Wladimir Klitschko?
THATS EXACTLY THE POINT FOOL!
If you're not going to have a go a pac for not thaking a 60/40 or the thin end of the wedge why are you having a go at haye for it?
Consistancy dear boy, consistancy.
Point me to the dan rafael link then. I want to see some hard ass evidence that Haye was given a fair crack of the whip and still turned it down.

Haye has been awfully quiet so I assume what ESPN is saying is true. Wlad is fighting the Ring # 3 ranked heavyweight, I dont see how you can call him a bum.
"Klitschko had hoped to next face belt-holder David Haye of England to further unify titles. The IBF's rules allow unification fights to supersede mandatory bouts and Haye was available and in negotiations with K2. Haye has been relentless calling out and verbally attacking Klitschko and his brother, but ultimately declined a deal to fight Wladimir.
Klitschko's camp said it offered Haye the deal he wanted, a 50-50 financial split without options on any of his future bouts, but the offer was spurned and they moved on to Povetkin.
"We're happy to have won the purse bid and now we're looking forward to promoting the fight," said Tom Loeffler, the managing director of K2 Promotions. "Povetkin has been the mandatory challenger for some time. He's a high-quality contender and he's undefeated. Wladimir is happy to get this out of the way since it is his obligation to the IBF and because Haye isn't interested in fighting either of the brothers any time soon.""
Wladimir Klitschko wins purse bid, will face Alexander Povetkin in September - ESPN

Well to be honest Hornfinger Pacquiao has more if not equal pull as Mayweather and Floyd isn't in the clear on why the fight hasn't come off either. Its really an erroneous point to try and make when we're talking about this heavyweight bout because Chicken Little lacks CREDIBILITY he's lied before, he's bailed out before, and he did it again, I'm losing count of how many times he's ducked the Klitschko's.
As for the link, I'm on my blackberry Google it yourself, there's also a Bernd Boente interview where he explains the contract that your boy rejected.
Don't get mad at me because England's title holder is a fraud
Don't be jealous cuz all american heavys are fat bums with no skill. :lickish:
Re: Povetkin-Klitschko september 18 at commerzbank Germany
Klitschko by kayo sometime after the 5th.
I read Showtime is interested in the fight. They might put it in a double header with Juanma vs Marquez.
Klitschko-Povetkin will possibly be televised by Showtime in U.S
Re: Povetkin-Klitschko september 18 at commerzbank Germany
I hope showtime buys the fight, I like watching Wlad. He has a monotonous style but those shots he does land are thunderous. Manny has been on Wlad to KO these guys so after he softens them up he seems to be showing the agreesion he used to show before the Sanders fight. I like seeing fights end in KOs so I will be watching.....
