I don't think anyone thought Marquez was a solid opponent for Mayweather and it show'd he was way to small. Since been sparked by Prescot, Khan has beaten a bum, a small Barrera by headbutt and didn't have the decency to give him a rematch, and 3 guys who have no punch power and now he's going after a guy much smaller than him again... wow what a great champion :rolleyes:

yeah his 2 wins were great for a fighter moving up in weight to lightweight, that still didn't make him a solid opponent for a guy another 2 divisions up(PBF) or even at light welter...
Personally I think he's no business fighting above lightweight, hopefully he proves me wrong and sparks Khan ;D

How do you figure that? Didn't Manny move up, after arguably losing to Marquez, to the same welterweight weight class and then batter the fuck out of Miguel Cotto?
What you mean is that Mayweather beat Marquez easily therefore you can confidently state from your armchair that he obviously was no challenge.

Marquez was clearly far too small against Mayweather and Mayweather refused to even attempt to make weight. A total mismatch. Pac and Marquez are different fighters. Marquez is much older and been forcing himself to bulk up. Manny has done it in a way we have never seen before. Marquez went up in weight in a much more typical manner.
I want to see how Marquez looks against Diaz first and if he looks grand then bring on Khan. But Khan's team are a bunch of dicks. They look at the age, then the size and keep him away from threats. He hasn't really beaten anybody besides Malignaggi yet.

Marquez is a great fight for Khan. Dangerous too. If he can stop Casamayor and Diaz, he sure as hell can stop Khan. I don't get the waffling. Well i do purely down to the fact i'm used to reading it, but it sure as hell doesn't make any sense.

Ya, but Marquez has been through so much in the last few years. And after him fighting Mayweather, then having to drop back down in (2) weights etc etc. War Casamayor, War Diaz, war Pacquiao. His body is just going to quit.
Hell, I'm shocked everyone is writing off Juan Diaz. He has almost nothing to lose, he sounds more focused than ever, he's training hard, and dropping back down to a weight where he can impose his will.
