Re: Margacheato denied for now in Nevada
LMAO!!!! Another NO for now.
This tidbit was in Dan Rafael's Notebook today.
• Margarito, the disgraced ex-welterweight, attempted to get a license in Nevada last week but the commission tabled the request and told Margarito to first go to California, the state that revoked his license last year because of the hand-wrapping scandal prior to his loss to Shane Mosley in Los Angeles. So that's what Margarito did as his representative asked California regulators to put him on the agenda for the July 26 California State Athletic Commission meeting. However, according to Carl Moretti of Margarito promoter Top Rank, the request was denied. Margarito, a possible Pacquiao opponent on Nov. 13, can try to get on the agenda for the CSAC meeting in August.

You are a boarderline spammer with this....Once a good poster who has reduced themselves to nonsense on a topic and situation that ended long ago and this is just trivial garbage.....Then they wonder why people believe you and Danny G are the same
Re: Margacheato denied for now in Nevada
Thx Diane for keeping us current....don't know why you would be labeled a borderline spammer when it's current news in a thread specifically dealing with Tanya Margacheato.
Oh btw Dianny I enjoyed talking to you on the phone the other night.....for a dude you sure have a sexy voice :la:
I agree with you Daxx......either let the guy fight or don't; stop being wishy washy from one state to the next as it starts looking hypocritical as well as making the justice system appear unsure of its own ideals. I personally would be content to never see Tony, who was my fave fighter, fight in the US again. He did serve his punishment though and if that's what they saw fit as a fair punishment for someone doing what he did then move forward already and be done with it, but at least be decisive one way or the other.

I don't understand this to be honest, it's relevant news. If you don't like it, then don't read it. It's not like there are a million other boxing-related things that we can be talking about at the moment. It's not spam at all IMO.

No mate The Spam comment was because can there be anything else to talk about by one poster....Like Danny went on and on and on about Cotto be it good or bad....Give it a rest already....I am pretty sure they are nhot the same but at times they never let a topic die or should I say seem to think that should be the only relevant topic
Yes there are tpons of other things to talk about and yes I could be and yes I do...But other posters can bitch and complain when one guys goes on about the same thing ALWAYS so can I difference is I make a comment and move on...The ones that canm not just amke a reply and let it go are the ones who know they were called out on it and have tantrums ;)...
See I am now moving on :D
Re: Margacheato denied for now in Nevada
Regarding "The Battle," people always raise their eyebrows and say "look at Cotto's face at the end of the fight."
To me, looking at Margarito's face was more shocking. Considering the combined volume and quality of shots he received it is incredible how unscathed he was.

Yeah I made reference to that myself a while back...Regardless of how low what he did was you can not load a chin to keep a man standing I think that is why it was such a shock when Mosley sparked him....

True. For Mosley that has to rate as one of his finest nights as a Welter.
I'm still interested in seeing Margarito fight.

Take another look at Cotto's face after their fight and tell me Margarito #1 Didn't have loaded gloves and #2 Didn't KNOW his gloves were loaded.
Toni is just covering his tracks because he doesn't want to end up like Resto. CA could have been a LOT harsher on him in hindsight.
I guess PAcman should be suspended too, because he busted Cotto's face up about the same. Clottely said Margarito didnt use them against him. He was actually caught BEFORE he used them against mosley. So technically he's not a cheater. He was suspended for as they have reported several times since the incident
I spell it very big so you and all those others can get clear..
"MARGARITO HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOR ATTEMPTING TO USE ILLEGAL WRAPS..."
He still went out and fought mosley albeit lost, but hey he did look good whopping Cotto's ass which is why when he fights a relevant name again it will sell, because he still has a great chin and is exciting to watch...
