That would be a great fight, I'll guarentee you one thing if the fight doesnt happen, its not gonna be Bradleys fault. He fights all comers. Talk is cheap, lets get the fight made then Khan can try and say hes the best at 140.

Somewhere dishes slip from hands and crash to the floor :o Come on Nameless, the next thing your going to say is that there is no Santa Clause
i think khan is good to go now. if he gets ko'd he gets ko'ed.
I like this fight, before Bradley calls out the Tiger lets see if he gets past the cub.
I disagree. First of all i don't even know who Salido is. That aside....
He shut out Kotelnik who to be fair had just beaten the most feared fighter since....erm Jeff Lacy.
He then blasted out Salita who was his mandatory. Now if Khan had started slower and let the fight become more competitive, he would have received more credit for it, as the fight would have at least seemed challenging.
Then he fought Maliganggi and completely outclassed him. IMO he did a better job than both Hatton and Cotto. I'll explain myself here; Basically Cotto made a mess of Paulie, but the fight was closer, and Paulie even managed to wobble Cotto. He was always in the fight to some extent.
Against Hatton, Paulie fought one-handed, and even then, the stoppage surprised me. Against Khan, i was calling out for a stoppage a few rounds before it happened. Total domination, and this was against a rejuvenated Paulie coming of a cracking win over Juan Diaz. I think you're doing him a dis-service.
As for Bradley, you could quite easily make a case for Witter being shit in the first place. Same goes for Cherry. Holt is one of those who gets a half decent press without actually justifying it. He did headbutt Torres quite spectacularly though, and he did put Bradley on his arse with the funniest punch i've ever seen (other than Tyson Fury's of course).
Peterson is a great win, because he's talented, but then again you could make an argument for him being merely a prospect. I'm not going to, because i rate Peterson. Not impressed by what happened against Campbell, especially not at 140.
I'm not trying to say Khan's resume is better, because it isn't. But it's far from a joke, and it's not a million miles behind Bradley's.
Unless of course you really, really rate Edner Cherry, Junior Witter and Kendall Holt. I don't believe any of those are any better than Kotelnik. Witter was fortunate to get a decision over him a few years ago as it happens.
I just think you're finding another way to discredit King Khan. ;D
Khan did a better job that Cotto and Hatton cause Malignaggi cause he's already on the slide, Cotto was already weight drained at 140 by his last 3 or 4 fights at the weight, Kotelnik got a gift against Maidana and i'm pretty damn sure that Alexander will blast him out in less than 8 rounds, i'm not saying that Khan's win against Malignaggi wasn't a good win cause it was but don't try to sugar coat it, no one was giving Paulie a chance in hell to win it, and Salita was utter crap, the guy's record is a joke and that was even before Khan got his hands on him, and then going by your own words Hatton was scared and ducked a fighter who was shit in Witter?!? yet when i said that Junior Witter was a joke you still defended his ass trying to make him seem like a solid fighter, hmmm interesting, the way i see it Bradley takes the #1 spot at 140, Alexander gets #2, and Khan gets 3rd place by default
I don't think i've ever said Witter was anything other than average. I defended Hatton, because i didn't believe Witter had done enough to warrant a shot, in the sense that he doesn't shift tickets, nor had he really done anything in the ring to justify his constant arrogance towards Hatton. I even said his win over Harris which a lot of people creamed over, was nothing special because Harris imo was cack.
How can you say Malignaggi is on the slide when he'd just come off the best win of his career? What had he done Pre Cotto and Pre Hatton which was more impressive than his win over Juan Diaz?
Disagree about Kotelnik getting a gift. Can understand that way of thinking if you like somebody applying Fight Night style pressure without getting much done, but imo it was a close fight. Both Boxing News and Boxing Monthly both agreed that Kotelnik won so i know i'm in good company.
All that aside, i agree with your final assessment. Bradley, Alexander and the Khan. But i don't think there's a great deal between them in terms of resume or ability.
Kudos to Khan if he actually makes this fight, Bradley is a rugged machine, but Khan's physicality will be too much IMO, he punches mach 3 for 12 rounds and has a reach that will seriously trouble Bradley. There is always the chance that Bradley catches him, but punch for punch Khan will always be first and will always land more.
My prediction Khan late stoppage.
As an aside, I think I've just thought of the most boring fight possible, Clottey vs. Kotelnik at 147 It would look like a couple of turtles running into each other.
In comparison to Malignaggi's other victories it means a lot. Diaz is the peak of the mountain for Paulie. That's why i found it odd that you said he was on the slide. It would stand true if he had a host of great victories, but he doesn't. The two Diaz performances were probably his best. I think McGirt held him back.
