It's terrible and just about sums up humanity. On a side note am i the only one who's seriously wondering about the Newspaper's choice of adjective - Ghouls for christ sake? :confused:

Ghouls is exactly the correct word to use, it's literal definition is taken to mean somebody who delights in macabre, devlish things. Taking pictures of a suicide victim definitely makes someone a ghoul.

in the end, the Law is what stands, sickeningly enough. Sorry to say, but there is no Law against taking photos of someone who just jumped out the window. And if there were a Law forbidding that, then we'd be living in Orwell's 1984, which we wouldnt want to do I assume, because then besides that Law about photographing a corpse, ther would undoubtedly be thousands of other laws as well forbidding thousands of other things as well. And this, boys and girls, would be TOTAL BIG BROTHER. So let's take the least of 2 evils here.

At least she's a little more famous than she would have been!

Not saying that it's right of them, I think it's awful that no-one helped her.

Just.... It's better to be famous than a statistic!
