Re: Is berto up next for mayweather...
Screw Mayweather. If he fights Berto next then shame on him (I love saying 'shame on him' these days). He should be fighting Pac right now. Anything else is simply not good enough. Pac has tried to make the fight, so there is nothing else he can do. It all falls at the feet of Mayweather. If there is anyone that I would like to go to MMA and get sat on and humped for 3 minutes it is Floyd Mayweather.
Re: Is berto up next for mayweather...
The only real challenge at Welter is Pac Man for Floyd, moving up to light middle and fighting Williams would be good, but a stay busy fight against a young undefeated fighter like Berto is not that bad. Consider it fore play for the main event later in next year against Pac Man.

These fights are a tad meaningless when we could have the chance to stamp the official #1 P4P ... Beside, I am a tad disturbed by your signature... I can understand that you like tall men but Valuev looks more like a circus freak than anything else if you ask me...
You don't know what you're missing. He's a god. If not THE GOD. But, I don't think it's meaningless. If Pac/May won't happen, yes it's a big nasty shame, but fighting champions is never meaningless, imo. Especially dethroning champions that shouldn't be champions. In a division with Pacquiao and Mayweather, Andre Berto simply shouldn't have the WBC title. It's crazy. It would be like having the Klitschkos and Haye at heavyweight and Wlad's walking around without a title to his name but Kevin Johnson is the IBF champion and Arreola is the WBO champion...insanity.
Believe me, I do know what I am missing. Beside, In my humble opinion, if he's a god, the boxing pantheon is doomed to an eternity of agony without any possible redemption.
For the rest, the problem I have is that Pac-Mayweather is THE fight that everyone want to see, Berto can wait a couple of months, it's not only what us fans want to see but also a match that can gather more attraction on the boxing scene, which we kind of need at the moment.
Dude, let Pac/May go for now. It's not Pacquiao's next fight, so why should it have to be Mayweather's? "If you love something, set it free." ~Confucius, or Zab Judah.
That's close, but I thought the famous Zab quote went,,,
"If at first you don't succeed, try for 1 more round,,,, then give up!"
