Re: Warren offers Groves deal to fight Degale has by wednesday to accept
Haye has put their counter offer which means they are calling his bluff. This fight should not happen yet for the sake of both fighters and I hope the ego of Warren does not mean he accepts.

I don't think a loss to either one would be career ending. Although a win would be huge for their own careers. This fight may not have as much meaning a few years down the line... We all want that Mosley Dela Hoya type match up but IMHO I think now is the right time to get it on...?
Re: Warren offers Groves deal to fight Degale has by wednesday to accept
To be honest its a pick em fight , I have just witnessed the joke stoppage in Degale's last fight , Groves would have more than a fair chance against Degale.

Exactly. Chances are one or both will lose sooner rather than later. Lets have the fight now and then have it again in a few years time when they are world-class.
All this waiting bollocks never works out - Hatton-Witter, all the Brit light-middles in the late 90s, loads of great match-ups that didn't happen

Yet Benn v Eubanks v Watson were for "world" titles and got paid big money for them which was worth it.

Benn-Watson fought for the Commonwealth title, the same title Groves-DeGale can fight for now. Obviously it didn't stop either guy from becoming world-class. Bloody good fight too ;)

They could have been fighting for a world title later, so you could be right.
