Re: Tony Bellew link pm me or usual place starting now.
It was a poor performance from Tony. He looked for the big shot too much without even trying to set it up. He really needs to get back to basics and not try and rely on blasting people out.
At the same time I don't think people should totally write him off after one poor performance, he was fighting a trickyish southpaw with a bit of power and fighting out of the Ingle gym, so he has got good people behind him, but I never to be totally honest saw Bellew as much of a threat to Cleverly.
I think Cleverly in 2-3 years will be a world class fighter but now he needs to start picking his opponents carefully and learn his trade against good opponents who can be beaten but people that will make him use his skills on the outside instead of people like Murat who will stand and trade but not really punish him for getting into brawls.
I see the future of the British 168-175 divisions being very bright with fights between the likes of Cleverly, Groves, De Gale, maybe Froch if he's still about and if he can improve a lot Bellew. One thing for certain is British boxing certainly looks very bright.

I didn't actually socre the fight to be honest, but it was close very close, RJJ the guy was an ingle fighter true but he is shite, Bellew should be taking the likes of bob out in 4 rounds.
He is 28 in a few weeks time is ticking on.

If he had boxed rather than loading up constantly I have no doubt he would have done. He has too much confidence in his power and his accuracy last night was terrible, more due to the fact that NOTHING was set up though IMO.
