Enough with this whole idea that he's not ready, Gold medal winner Odlanier Solis 30, 16(12 KO)-0-0 won 2 out of 3 with the great Felix Savon and he's "still a prospect"?!?!?! Have you lost your mind?

Looks like he's pushing 280 for this fight :(
Austin will give him a fight IMO. He gets written off way too easily because Wladimir beat him with one hand. He'll be a handful (no pun) for most heavies outside of the K bros & maybe Haye.

I like Ray Austin, he's a decent fighter he's just had his career handled poorly. Ray Austin and Larry Donald were good serviceable fighters who could have done much better.
Solis is one of the fastest heavyweights out there even if he's fat. He shouldn't be fat but so far it hasn't mattered. I wish he would drop some weight but honestly he's been destroying guys, at 30 he is coming into his heavyweight prime and would be a live dog with anyone. He may not be faster overall then Haye but he has faster hands.
He's got power in both hands, very quick, but he's fat, he can (to quote Teddy Atlas) "be dragged into those deep waters" and his stamina can be tested.
Ray Austin is a very flawed fighter, but he's got raw talent which has been good enough to net him a couple of very good wins. People can sleep on him, Sultan Ibragimov slept on him and damn near lost that fight..
I totally disagree. For me Hayes handspeed is way faster than Solis', the thing with Haye is he is very conservative with his punches and only displays his handspeed occasionally. But when you see he has an almost 50% connect rate with his punches, that is excusable for me!
At times Haye reminds me of a much bigger version of Roy Jones, but with only half the package. His reflexes aren't as good as Roy's (no one in the history of boxings are), his handspeed is good but not as good as Roys (again is there anyone with as good handspeed), and he fights with his left hand way too low at times (only thing is Roy never paid for it in his prime whereas Haye has been known to get caught out). I do though think p4p Hayes power is a match for Roys!
I think Solis has more handspeed then Haye. Now I haven't watched both fight in slowmotion with a stopwatch so I can't say for sure but I think he has faster hands and he definitely puts his punches together faster.
