Re: Wild Card gym Michael Moorer what happened?
From what I understand Moorer just did not get on very well with the boxers in the gym.
Moorer has always been a stroppy type of guy so it comes as no supprise.
You can put up with stroppy boxers because they at the end of the day is what boxing is all about but stroppy co trainers you can do with out.
Re: Wild Card gym Michael Moorer what happened?
I heard that roach was shagging moorers wife so moorer started spiking the boxers tea with roids to try and get roach in trouble, roaches fighters started performing better so he and moorer made up and moorer got a pay rise. Then the drugs scandal came out and a stresssed roach started shagging moorers wife again this time roided up himself, moorer decided to find a new job and a new wife

Yep. Manny had Roach canned Moorer's ass for that. That "V.I.P. person" that Moorer kicked out of the building was governor Chavet Singson - a rumored gambling lord and a mass murderer in P.I.
He's the guy with the glasses...

I can clearly see why Pacquiao would want someone like that around him..................

Dude on the left is Pac's flag bearer. His name is Crisostomo Aquino - he supplies high power guns and ammo. He got involved with Ampatuan (warlord clan) massacre. Arms dealer: I thought I was on the side of the good guys - INQUIRER.net, Philippine News for Filipinos He's now cleared with that scandal.

Actually they did. Moorer had put a lot of trust into Roach. He had bought into the crap Roach was spitting. He was looking forward to taking over Roach's spot. And hopefully matching his success. Moorer was greatly shocked, disappointed and hurt to find out that Roach's success was due to chemicals injected by needle. Moorer wanted no part of the fraud known as the Wild Card gym.
To be fair VD, I think Roach takes a 'see no evil, hear no evil' approach to what his fighters do. I think he's aware that some guys may do it, but he simply sees it as his job to train them, the rest of it is their responsibility. Also before all the Pac-lovers get in a twist, I think this can be demonstrated by how he handled the James Toney thing, where Roach even said he suspected he was on something,
but didn't say anything.
Of course he didn't. It would of been stupid of him. When junkies get arrested there dealer don't go around saying "he got the stuff me. Yes I'm the one who gave it to him". Roach is just preaching from the drug dealer handbook he keeps where his bible use to be. And he's following one of there main rules. Deny involvement.
