Yes Rafa has a hairline fracture... yes Rafa didn't quit... NO, Rafa didn't go into the ring at 30%. Let's not go overboard in our attempts to discredit Juanma. Only a fool would think that ANY professional fighter would climb into a ring at 30%. Tell me, could Juanma's punches have had anything to do with worsening what was already an old injury? I mean... Marquez went into the fight at 75%. From the 3rd round on he was at 30%. It was pretty obvious he was only throwing the left with power. And it's his right that's his biggest weapon

It's a good thing he had the ref on his side if he was at 30%.

Without all the bullshit warnings, it would have been over sooner.

At this point Rafa should hang them up. He was great but I don't want to see him continue if we'll probably never see him at 100%. Let Juanma defend his belt against the rest of the division. It's time for Juanma to take on Gamboa.

he's my honest take on the lopez/marquez fight. imo, it would not have mattered if marquez' shoulder was injured because juanma would probably have KO'ed him anyway. i honestly thought juanma won every round with the exception of the 4th round. marquez gave it his best but it wasn't enough. the old lion couldn't topple the young lion and that's the way life goes.

I agree. I have no doubt Lopez doesn't make it out the 4th without that 50 second recovery time
