Unlike you I have an interest in boxing.
I, however, don't have an interest in homoerotisism between 2 fighters and their trainer. But don't let me stop you from getting the vasaline out. It's just not my thing.

The Sun newspaper, haha. Enough said...
Re: Pacquiao to Khan: You kicked my ass
Best case would be maidana coming in, landing a punch prescott style, wait for khan to wake up put him on a flight back home and have all this sillyness come to an end. More than likely khan will outbox maidana..make it seem like he just beat a prime tyson with no catchweight and we'll have more dreaded months of this delusional garbage that spews out of his mouth.

I couldn't have said this better.
100% agree!
Re: Pacquiao to Khan: You kicked my ass
Its amazing the things Twitch can get away with just cuz he not all there in the head. And he knows it too. Roach saying he now feels he has two fighters that can beat Mayweather is pretty much him just admitting to the world that Con has started the roid cock tails that oh so did wonders for Manny Pacquiao career. But since he just started them Roach knows they won't take affect right away. Which is why he said Con will be better off facing Mayweather 2 years down the line. Come on people. Read between the fucking lines
Re: Pacquiao to Khan: You kicked my ass
Just another publicity stunt from a guy that trains both Amir and Manny. It doesn’t matter if Freddy Roach says that Amir sent Pac straight to the hospital after a sparring session or if he punched holes in a concrete wall, what matters is what we have seen in the ring so far and that is, an Amir Khan who is kind of quick, has good reach, needs a bit more spark to his punches, and who can be KOed with a good punch to the jaw.
They can say Amir is Superman when they train, does nothing to me really until I see him in the ring. It's just a trainer (Freddy) hyping up his very own fighter.

To be perfectly honest, HorneyFinger. You have innate attraction to only commenting on threads you 100% disagree with. I never see a thread about Pac that you can't chime in on trying to discredit his status as a superior boxer of our generation. You also want him to lose so badly in all of his fights it's uncanny. Your last name must be Mayweather or something. I just don't get it.
I, for one, like the reign of a fighter who brings offense and closure to his fights. He is not arrogant, boastful, misleading or scared of any fight. He mows through competition and packs as many fights in a year that he can. If you don't want to watch one of his fights, DON'T. Just ignore him and he might just go away.
Khan is no legitimate threat to pacquiao. He MAY grow into a fighter that could take him. He MAY turn into something I have never seen before. But, certainly, he is not ready fro Floyd Mayweather or any elite fighter out there, for that matter. I wish him well against Maidana. Also, I would like to see Maidana flatten him out like pita bread. I don't think he has quite humbled himself far enough just yet. Has he taken any more pictures of his dong for anyone lately?
Re: Pacquiao to Khan: You kicked my ass
Meh just hype, and it's from the Sun. Of course they're going to print a load of crap, its what they've always done. Unless they actually get in the ring it doesn't matter, it shouldn't be all that surprising that he did well in sparring against Manny
Re: Pacquiao to Khan: You kicked my ass
dosent supprise me really..... headgear is the key.
if Khan had a chin he would be an amazing fighter no question... the headgear gives him a chin ;)

MANNY PACQUIAO has sent Amir Khan the birthday message he only ever dreamed of hearing: You kicked my ass.
The eight-division world champion, universally acknowledged as the best boxer on the planet, has admitted for the first time Khan has got the better of him in their fierce spars.
Pacman told Freddie Roach, who trains them both, "Amir kicked my ass today" after their final session ahead of Khan's world-title defence against Marcos Maidana on Saturday night.
Roach added: "Amir beat the s**t out of him for four rounds in their last session before we started easing off the training. Even Manny knows that and he said so."
Khan, 24 today, has been sparring with Pacman - the first boxer in history to win 10 world titles in eight different divisions - ever since he linked with Roach.
He turned to Roach two years ago when his career was falling apart following a shock 54-second knockout defeat against journeyman Breidis Prescott.
Such is Khan's rise since that dark night that there is talk of facing Pacquiao for real - even though the Bolton Bomber doubts that will happen because of their friendship outside of the ring.
Floyd Mayweather jnr, who knocked out Ricky Hatton in 10 rounds, is a more realistic proposition should Khan come through as expected against Argentinian slugger Maidana.
Khan said: "I think Mayweather might be a little too much for me at the moment. But that is a fight for the future.
"He was following me on Twitter and then all the people were going on about us fighting and he stopped following me.
"He has blanked me ever since. I know he could read all the messages that people were tweeting and I don't think he liked it so I 'unfollowed' him as well."
Roach added: "I used to think I had one fighter who could beat Mayweather - but now I think I have got two.
"I am not a big fan of Mayweather - Amir and Manny have speed which he can't handle. If Mayweather won't fight Manny, maybe he will fight Amir.
"I am not saying I would want that one right now, but maybe in another two fights."
Roach 'tested' Khan before he agreed to take him on by throwing him into a sparring session with Pacman at his Wild Card gym in Los Angeles.
He has been impressed ever since, steering him to the world title and two successful defences, and says it is Khan's ability to listen which is setting him apart.

Roach, regarded as the most successful trainer of all time, said: "I have never had a better listener than Amir. You give him a gameplan and he sticks to it and I know he will do that on Saturday.
"I tell him one thing and he does it. If I told him not to throw a punch in a round he would do it.
"But I break it down for him so he knows exactly why I am saying it. He is the best listener I have had - and I have had some good guys."
As for Khan's birthday today, there are no celebrations are planned - just another relentless round of running, training to stay sharp, eating to make the 140lb limit and sleeping.
Khan said: "I am going to celebrate with my conditioner Alex Ariza getting me up at 5am to go for a run.
"Freddie will then get me in the gym but the only present I will get off him will be a session on the pads.
"Then my birthday tea will be some vegetables, steamed chicken, rice and water. We are getting very close to the fight and we have to make sure my weight is right.
"I don't mind making these sacrifices now because I know that's what it takes to be a champion.
"Also, in a couple of days' time, I will be able to relax and chill with all my friends and I want to make sure it will all be worth it by stopping Maidana."
Manny Pacquiao has told Amir Khan: You kicked my butt | The Sun |Sport|Boxing
Well that's a cool story and all but WTF?
Roach regarded as the most successful all time? ???
Says who?
He's possibly the most successful of his time or of recent times.
Does the name Ray Arcel ring a bell...
Or Angelo Dundee maybe?
How about D' Amato does that sound familiar?
Nobody cares for the old guard anymore. There's very few fans of "boxing" , everyone is more so fans of "fighters" only and their trainers and aren't going to actually look up the past fighters or trainers etc. Boxing fans are a dying breed sadly. Because there's so little interest in boxing in general rather then boxers. Recent times are about as far as most boxing pundits and sportswriters want to go to. Hype up the current now and forgetting the past. Sadly this is what sales nowadays. But it's a shame that some people will look at Freddie Roach and call him the most successful coach/trainer of "all time". It's the same as people saying Pacquiao is the greatest of all time, when Sugar Ray Robinson once walked on this earth.
I agree with everything you said...
As for the Pacquiao statement he is well on his way to being the GOAT but he is not there yet.
But if anyone has a shot at achieving that status it's def. him...
The unfortunate thing is. He is in that spot right now. But if he loses two fights, all of it is out the window and he was overrated, a never was, hype machine etc etc.
To me it is amazing how if a boxer does so great they are on the cusp of being up there, but then two losses later, they become like a "who?"
Look at Roy Jones Jr. How high up there he was, two knockout losses and it's like the rest of his career in accomplishments is in question. People as quick to give credit want to take it away, and rather than say someone stayed in the sport too long, they'd rather say they weren't really that good to begin with.
I think its like a "smart mark" mentality. Everyone that rides the coattails of a fighter when they win, want to act like they always expected the fighter to lose when it happens so they look more the expert. And sadly thats the average boxing fan or sportswriter nowadays.

I can't stand fakes, cheats and fighters who think they are bigger than the sport, and that's why I can't stand pacroid.
And of course I'm going to post on the threads I disageee with. a discussion where everyone agrees is pointless and doesn't last very long.

dunno how much I agree with that. But sparring is alot different to the actual fight.
