I spoke to Mike Jones a couple of week's before he left to fight Jesus Soto Karass.
Last one i spoke to was Ryan Ryodes he was friendly and had lots of time to chat.
One of the most friendliest boxers was Pauli Malignaggi saw him after he was beat by Hatton in vegas he was just going to his after party. He talked to me and my mate for bout 10mins his bouncers where telling him to come on but he told them he was talking and told them to wait lol.
I speak to few of them on facebook if that counts.
In person Ive spoken to Barrera, Hatton, Calzaghe and Holyfield to name afew.
Last boxer i spoke to was Hatton. We was pissed, he was pissed. We sang at him and patted him on the back really.
The last boxer who spoke back to me was Junior Witter. Seemed like a nice enough guy to be honest. Let me hold his belt, and i told him he'd knock Vivian Harris out because he is fucking shit. Which he did tbf.
Chat to Wayne Alexander on Facebook every now and then
last two pro's i've talked to were Carlos Quintana about 3 weeks ago at a event where we were picking up donated toys for less fortunate kids, and about a month ago ran into Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., Quintana is a bit of a tight ass but his heart is definitely in the right place when it comes to helping the community, Vazquez is a pretty humble dude and loves his fans and the attention he gets from them lol
I shook hands with and said "good fight" to Z Gorres a few years ago.
Talked to Verno Phillips on myspace a few times.
Spoke to Vic Darchinian. I said :" you fight like a one armed crab whats up with that"?
Not really "I said good luck mate" .
Not many at all. When I lived in V I shook hands and "hi/bye" with Chavez. He folded his thumb and would only use his four fingers to shake...saw Meldrick Taylor in the mall. Spoke with Bert Sugar and Ray Mercer on radio. I actually asked him what was so difficult about Kimmuel Odum and how did he take him 12 rounds...think it pissed him off. Locally I saw Darrin Zenner in the coffee shop, bought him a cup and had a pic.
Oscar about 3 weeks ago... His usual self.
I have never ever spoken to a famous boxer.
jose luis castillo in vegas about three years ago and before that, johnny tapia in el paso, tx.
I do have to add. My wife and I spoke to Sugar Shane briefly after Danny Garcia took out Mighty Mike a few months ago. Very nice person always smiling and very chatty. B-Hop who was also with him was a bit of a prick. Wouldn't take pictures, wouldn't shake hands, and sure as hell wouldn't acknowledge the few people who were saying his name.
