he deserves it, he hasd had a good carear always value for money without ever really getting the recognition
he deserves the payday and the posibilities after if he does well
i think Murray could have a good crack at a world title but maybe not aginst khan

Just think about it, Murray can be the British version of a real life Rocky if he pulls it off or makes it really competitive.:)

Looks like Murray has re signed with Hennesey, the fat man that hasn't got him a real test in 31 fights and the same man who has no tv deal, wtf is up with John Murray?

Bit of a joke fight tbh, another con for the Brit fans to pay for, Amir is on a tottally diffrent level after training with Manny n Freddie, he is also very big at 140lb and asking a limited Murray to move up is a joke, John relies on strengh and aggresion to get the job done he bullies his opponents by being bigger and stronger, no chance of those tactics against Khan who will be bigger and more powerfull with faster hands n feet. Two years ago it would of been a good domestic dust up and a fight Murray had a chance in, now he has no chance, if Khan can take Maidanas best shots at 140lb what chance does John have being a 135lb fighter, if Khan wants an easier fight after going to the well with Marcos which I can understand fight Zab he is still fast on his feet has good pop on his punches and will push Amir for a few rounds, then fight Bradley or Alexander and prove himself to be the best at 140lb.

I say give Murray a chance. He has a nice shiny unbeaten record, bit of a Manc following, so as a British fight this will be much more interesting than Peterson or a faded American. Plus British boxing has the bonus of a win-win. Murray would be an overnight boxing star if he pulled the upset (Khan will slaughter him in 2. Fact).
