But I don't even recall seeing a Pac vs Mosley thread for at least the past 3 weeks....
If he was fighting just about anyone else, there would have really been constant small amounts of chit chat and hype all the way up to the fight, as it has been for the past couple of years of his career...
But this just confirms that boxing fans think this fight is a total DUD.... yeah yeah I know, everyone is going to say thank you Captain Obvious...
But even past that, it's lost Pac any interest in him even outside the fight... Suddenly people stopped caring what Pac named his new dog, or which friends birthday he attended on the weekend..
Really shameful, and I absolutely confirm I am really not looking forward to this fight... I see it being a really sad fight from the perspective of someone who really likes Shane Mosley... I like he gets a pay day, but otherwise I feel this fight will damage him..
But mainly, I just think it a total bore to take an all time great at the peak of his career and performance and influence, and make a fight that zero fans really give a sh!t about...
I hope the PPV numbers reflect the level of interest on here, and they get serious with his next fight...
Diz out......
Yeah. Majority of Boxing Forum members doesnt like this fight.
But the Target audience are not those who follow boxing everyday. but those who know the name Shane Mosley and are willing to pay to watch the fight.
That old man Arum knows what he is doing IMO.
No the only people this fight is aimed at is philipeanos. They would pay top price to see pac fight a can of sardines.
Re: And it's proven, no one gives a sh!t about Pac vs Mosley
its more of a fight for the not fulltime boxing fans really
Re: And it's proven, no one gives a sh!t about Pac vs Mosley
W are still months away from the fight. Things will pick up. Im in the extreme minority here and think it will be a good fight . Atleast for the first 6 rounds.
Worst thing Shane can do is try and match Pac for tempo. He tried to match Floyd and didnt have the lungs. He has to slow it down to his pace. Stand more flat footed like he did with Tony and let Pac bring the fight to him. Keep his punches long, work Pacs body to slow him up and DONT GET INTO EXCHANGES. Mosley is the bigger 1 punch hitter but in flurries Pac could catch Shane with the same type of punches that caused the 2nd Cotto knockdown if Shane doesnt think about every punch he throws.
Re: And it's proven, no one gives a sh!t about Pac vs Mosley
Yeah exactly nobody gives a shit about this fight, thats why they have already sold 16,000 tickets and only 1000 remain. Spot on Diz.....

The counter for the 16K tickets sold would be 'The brokers have taken down most those tickets'.
Well, These brokers knows what they're doing and unless they made a very serious blunder. Its a good indication with regards to the sale of this fight.
'Boxing people' are very demanding and want every fighter to fight the very best available. Where does Shane rank if we compare to other candidates?
The fight is at 147 so i would still favor Shane over Berto, Bradley and Marquez.
Would anybody back any of these 3 against Shane at Welter?
Re: And it's proven, no one gives a sh!t about Pac vs Mosley
brokers dont take risks they only buy when the damand is high so they can resale at a higher price. that is why brokers didnt buy omarq vs kat.
Re: And it's proven, no one gives a sh!t about Pac vs Mosley
I haven't seen a demand for tickets like this since Hatton-Tszyu! Amazing.

I would much rather see Berto-Pac than Mosley. How many times are we gonna see Mosley look bad before it's enough. Yea i know Mosley is a bigger name and will sell more tickets, but look at what Pac-Clottey did. Hopefully the third times a charm and we won't see Mosley in anymore of these fights, and we can see Pac and younger WW or floyd get in the ring.

I'm with you on this but, then, we would be in the minority and the 16000 tickets will not even sell in 3 weeks.
