Bollocks. Not everyone. Mighty Mike would knock him out!
YES. Abso-fooking-lutely!
Re: I think JMM beats Bradley @ 140.
Bradley and Alexander got enough credit, not just enough BUT they were overrated with bullshit statements like "This is what boxing needs, the best vs the best" ; "This is the best fight in boxing, two animals going against each other".
What animals what shit, why is Alexander the best, because he jabs from the elbow and lost (yeah clearly) to Kotelnik. Why is Bradley the best, because he reaches with every shot.
Of course JMM will feel the age (37 is VERY OLD for lower weight classes), but these American hyped up limited boxers are still very beatable for the skilled old man.

Going out on a limb, there... JR? :)
That's ONE bet I'd make with my eyes closed. Bradley's good.... JMM is an ATG.

I agree - but there's always that chance that Marquez has lost just enough of a step. I think he's still got some good fights in him though. He fights the inevitable just as hard as his opponents, which is just another reason he's as great as he is.

Marquez has been losing steps (so they say) since the John fight. It don't stop him from winning
Re: I think JMM beats Bradley @ 140.
JMM is always at his best when fighters come after him. When someone pushes the tempo (like I think Bradley would) with Marquez, Marquez responds everytime by pushing it even more. If I was Marquez I wouldnt try to add to many pounds come fight night. I see JMM schooling Bradley on the inside with a late stoppage.

Great point - and right on the money. You know sooner or later he's gotta get too old for the game, though. With him, I'd put my money on later.
Re: I think JMM beats Bradley @ 140.
Marquez is such a great boxer he couldnt win one round against Floyd. :-X He's a brawler more than boxer once he get hit he goes into brawl mode.
Re: I think JMM beats Bradley @ 140.
I think Bradley takes the ud i mean jmm been having wars with Daiz and Kat. Bradley to me is better then both of them and has a very rough um up style i think he while out work him.

Marquez can't beat Father Time. But he'll adjust to him. Similar to what Hopkins be doing. But with more activity
Re: I think JMM beats Bradley @ 140.

Marquez does have a DQ loss in his career. So a Bradley win ain't 100% impossible.

I think Marquez IS a great boxer. You forget, he was woefully undersized for someone like Floyd. No fair judging him on that fight alone. He's more what you call a boxer-puncher. He can definitely box, with quite an arsenal of punches... good with both hands... but he can brawl when the situation calls for it. JMM is just a tremendously skilled veteran who knows what it takes to win a fight, and the resourcefulness to be able to do it.

There is not much a guy like jmm can do against this style because he comes straight forward, and that's why he could not circumvent floyd's jab, and why bradley would out box jmm on the outside. Not enough angles and jmm doesn't have any punches that extend his reach without forcing him off balance. It would be a fun fight though.
Too bad they'll never meet. I'd be happy to steal... er... I mean...make a bet with you.
