Re: I was thinking about sugar ray leanard....
Well he was only 25 years old think he was just hitting his peak and that was Hearns win. I mean he went for the title pretty quick when he hit pro funny to to me he was able to beat Duran and Benitez at such a young age. I just think because of the eye injury kinda missed out on good number of years.
Re: I was thinking about sugar ray leanard....
If it could of happened, I would be barracking for Manny cause SRL always pumped up his own bike tyres too much for my liking.
Re: I was thinking about sugar ray leanard....
When you hold wins over Benitez, Hearns, Hagler & Duran any given fight is winable...

it just shows how astonishing Pacman is , how many times he has jumped up in weight.
You try to name men who beat top guys across five of the original divisions and it is a damned short list. Langford, Carpentier, McLarnin, Walker, Barbados Joe Walcott and Manny.
There may be a couple of others, but not many.
ODLH, Duran, ;)
Oscar didn't. He beat men at 135, 147, and 160. Duran didn't either. 126, 135, 147 and 160. I don't think he ever beat a ranked 175.
