daley wears mma gloves and wings wild ugly poorly thrown hooks, lacy at one point was a very dangerous puncher who know how to throw a left hook correctly, he may only have 1 round worth of trying left in him but that 1 round is WAY more than anything daley can do
on top of that velasquez doesnt even hit that hard, nogueira was a complete zombie by the time he fought velasquez and carwin doesnt even know how to throw a punch
if u wanna make a pointless argument at least mention a HW that can somewhat box, like if u said overeem or kharitanov but u seriously used carwin?

Lacy will knock him out within 3 rounds.
Im not sure whether Lacy does hit harder than anyone in MMA...he hasnt knocked anyone out in a while. No doubt Wlad Klit would hit harder than ANYONE in MMA, put 4 ounce gloves on him and see the damage that would be done. The question is does Diaz hit hard enough with bigger gloves?
Interesting matchup if it happens. On recent form I'd take Diaz by one sided decision. Wouldn't surprise me if the referee stops it in the middke rounds.
It's a bit sad to see that some boxing diehards are still deluded about the quality of fighters in MMA. Diaz is a dangerous fighter, and when this happens I expect him to be too fast, too big and have too much in the tank for Lacy, who infairness should be retired by now.
I personally have watched MMA since UFC 1. I have watched MMA wayyyy before it was the hip popular cool thing that it is now. I like MMA a good deal, but I love boxing. I have long trained at an MMA gym, I have a good deal of respect for mma fighters, but Nick Diaz is just not a quality 10 round professional boxer. He simply does not have the experience, the power, or the skill in boxing.Quote:
