Except in reality Sky appear to have scored a massive own goal there. Khan still managed to sell 60,000+ PPVs on a no-name station with less than a week of promotion, earning himself about £500k as opposed to the £150k Sky offered. So they've managed to alienate the biggest boxing star likely for the forseeable future (assuming Haye retires as promised) by treating him like shit. The only reason Warren won't get the same treatment is the sheer volume of fighters he's got.
Re: Bellew v clevery is off
Anybody see the press conference? I think Warren saw the domestic potential of this fight down the road and promptly shit canned it. He owns both fighters.

Even the nobodies. And mugs buy it!
Degale vs groves isn't worth a 5 pound note and if I know Clevs going to win then I'll watch it free on utube nxt day. Man I'm more pumped for froch Johnson and it's fucking free!!!
i have a feeling degale groves could be a cracking fight and if any fight is worth paying extra for i think it could be that one
Re: Bellew v clevery is off
I've posted it on twitter before but apart from fights like Lewis vs Tyson, Pac vs Mayweather, Haye vs Wladimir, no other fights should be ppv. Especially a fights between two boxers who haven't even had thirty fights between them.
PPVs used to mean something, now they are thrown around willy nilly.
Re: Bellew v clevery is off
Bellew had to lose 20lbs, apparently.
Wowsers.
Definitely the right decision to pull him out. That shit is insane.
Re: Bellew v clevery is off
I don't think Bellew was bullshitting about trying to make the fight but he sure did a great job of hyping the whole bill. Frank must love him. And it's blatantly obvious who Cleverly's first defence will be against.
Re: Bellew v clevery is off
I wouldnt give Warren the steam off my piss at the best of times, but this bill is total shite.
Should be free, a good domestic dust up in Degale v Groves , the rest is crap.
