Ward will win. He'll also thank God 324 times in the first minute of his post-fight interview while I vomit uncontrollably.
I really can't see where Froch can tactically go to gain an advantage, his awkwardness is maybe his only strength in this match up.
I mean that in the sense that Ward is tactically, incredibly shrewd and technically, very sound. His inside game is amazing and he is a superp athlete and knows how to bend the rules so for any one dynamic or scenario to play out over any reasonable period of time is just gonna play IN to Wards hands.
Froch somehow needs to utilise his old unconventional ways, both technically and tactically to upset the Ward and just basically refuse to be an abiding dance partner for Ward. Otherwise i just see Froch trying and failing every initiative... And thats on the assumption that Froch doesn't suffer a sudden loss of heart.
Ward by UD...
I just think that Ward has the skills to outbox Froch.
Froch has heart & determination and has shown that he can pull off a win even when hes losing the fight.
I think those low wide hands prior to getting off will come back to haunt Froch greatly. Ward should keep him one step behind and over thinking for a wide decision. See some point deducted before its all over from either.
Like everyone else has said, i think Ward outboxes Froch. He will counter him all night, and take advantage of Froch's low left hand.
I see it going the distance but I see a shutout win for Ward. I just think he is way ahead of all the rest who entered the tournament and Froch wasn't even second to him. Kessler would have had more chance of beating Ward in the final than Froch. I wish I was wrong as I don't mind Froch but I'm not unfortunately.
i want froch to win but ward will
Ward hands Froch his second loss. Froch beats everyone but the very top of the division.
It doesn't look like even Froch's fans/countrymen are giving him much of a shot against Ward. I wouldn't count Carl totally out, hell, he's got Rachael in his corner.
But seriously, you never know how 2 pugs will matchup in the ring, and if the fight can be made somewhere besides Ward's nest in California, Froch might have a shot at winning. I doubt if i'll even bother to watch this one, but if I do i'll be pulling for Froch.
Yep, pretty easy to predict a UD win for Ward.
Personally, I think the question should be "How many round Froch is going to win?" instead.
You could have the fight ANY where in Europe and there'd be 0% favouritism to a Brit ;)
