Should this be another thread?
yes

dunno, what are the rules on threads
I ask about the new thread because some thread on here be premature and some just don't make sense.
what do you mean premature?
also are you from the west country?
Premature in the sense that some threads have fighters fighting each other with dates. Getting my hopes up for a classic fight  Not potential showdowns!!!

In the west country in england they speak like your earlier post
"some of the threads on here be premature" or "today I be going to the shops"
Im not sure if this thread is premature or not, is it true? is judah trying to get khan to do the tests?
Re: Zab trying to make Khan do Olympic tests
not alot of manny fans on this thread...lol. Last I read, Manny is willing to do olympic style drug testing but wants a cut off date of 3 days prior to the fight. But I digress, this is a ploy by zab. He's going to get his ass kicked and I'm pretty sure he knows it. He's going to try every trick in the book to get into this kids head. But I don't see this fight being cancelled or anything like that. Ref stops the fight in or before round 10

Till this is done all this "I want you to test such and such" will just be used as a bargaining chip or mental ploy to get an edge. Its not like amirs been walking thru bombs he was in no mans land against maidana its just idiocy coming from zabs end.
I can imagine back in the day when athletes were beginning to juice up that they also thought the same about testing procedures.
Drug users hate blood tests. If you have nothing to hide, you won’t fear a needle. I just don’t understand how Manny, the fearless destroyer, the one who takes punches for 12 rounds and many times comes out with a beat up swollen bloody face, say he is totally scared of a small needle that pokes his arm for less than a minute or two.
Re: Zab trying to make Khan do Olympic tests
This is a good gesture by Zab and he should make more noise about it but boxing is more business than sport and the guy demanding the "real" testing has to have more of a draw than the potential juicer. If a guy has been juicing he has such a great advantage that he probably has been looking and drawing better than the clean opponent. The "clean" fighters need to ramble and demand on about this more and more so the bogus sanctioning bodies have no more excuses for their testing protocol that has been out of date for at least 25 years. In an era where we have eventually found that a large percentage of guys were on PEDs in at least two sports, cycling and baseball and guys are constantly getting caught in football, we can no longer afford to accept the bogus arguments against strict up to date testing. The sport became ridiculous when you have to be the draw to even "negotiate" an even playing field. In 2011 it should by far have been standard. Especially in a sport where enough harm is done when both fighters are clean.

Exactly. Let's hope something is done about it. But then again, with all the money involved I can already see promoters who promote juicers finding ways TO NOT have their guys be in the risk of getting caught.
Hope more boxers start asking for these kinds of tests. As boxing fans, we should root for this. It is for the good of the sport, for the good of the boxers, to keep the competitive level fair, etc. EVERYBODY WINS! Why would someone NOT want this?
Re: Zab trying to make Khan do Olympic tests
I am with Armin on this, unless the authorities stipulate that he has to take the new tests then Amir should not do it. It is simply a ploy by Zab to mess about with Amir and if Khan does accept then it forces the issue on to his friend Manny Pac.

Thought?
When Mosley-Judah was already scheduled Judah requested for additional tests.

At least Amir can use that argument convincingly (), unless of course his Miles approved English lets him down! ;D
I am yet to encounter a video with Manny saying he's afraid of needles. and you guys broadcast it here like its a FACT. show me one pls i am really curious if he really said that.
Now i have encountered many links of videos of Manny saying he already agreed to all testing demands by FLOYD random, scheduled, in between rounds everything. and yet we cant seem to conclude that Manny Pacquiao has already agreed to the tests  why is that?
Please enlightened me.
Re: Zab trying to make Khan do Olympic tests
Personally I think it's time boxing had olympic style testing. That would solve a lot of problems and would make it a lot fairer playing field.
Re: Zab trying to make Khan do Olympic tests
Taking blood out of you ever week is a bit too much, I hate needles. :)

Or if they let fighters take whatever they like, it would be more entertaining. ;D

I'll see if I can find the video and send it to you, I've seen it a few times. I believe it was from 2005. It didn't have anything to do with needles. He had blood drawn from him 24 hours before he lost to Erik Morales in their first meeting. He felt it weakened him. That's why he has now agreed to Floyds demands but wants a cut off date of 3 days prior to the fight for the blood tests. And you are right about Manny agreeing to all those. Floyd fans don't want to hear it. Just like Manny fans don't want to hear he might be juicing. Personally, I dont think he is. Manny always had phenomenal speed and power, but before Roach, his balanced sucked at times in fights. If you notice, before Roach took over, Manny would throw big time flurries but would have to take an extra step once he was done because his hands moved to fast for his feet. Now everything is in sync and it's given a huge boost to his power. Not to mention the improved technique in general.
