At St. Charles, Mo. (HBO): Devon Alexander vs. Lucas Matthysse, 10 rounds, junior welterweights; Tavoris Cloud vs. Yusaf Mack, 12 rounds, for Cloud's IBF light heavyweight title.
I don't know why Alexander vs. Matthysse is being listed as the main event, Tavoris Cloud vs. Yusaf Mack is the bigger fight, and it's for the IBF Light Heavyweight trinket.
The action starts on HBO B.A.D. @ 9:45 PM EST. PM me if you need a stream, i'll do my best.
HBO: Boxing: Home
I think it's because of the big option Alexander got from HBO from when he signed to fight Bradley. They both got the extra payday after that one.

That's kind of what I figured, but after Alexander's pathetic performance against Bradley, HBO should have negated that option. No way does Alexander rate getting listed as the main event headliner on a 10 round non-title fight, I hope Matthysse kicks his ass tonight.
Re: Tonights Fights (Sat 25th June)
How long until the British fights start? Can't you assholes do things on North American time? You do realize that the world revolves around us, dont you?

But then he looses and everyone knew he wasn't crap in the first place all of the sudden. Mathyesse excuse me if that's wrong , is no joke. Zab knew he beat zab, but i really don't know much of him outside that. I know there is someone on here that is a huge supporter of mack so for that i hope he wins, but if i had to bet my paycheck and risk my kids not getting thier toys this month (cause they don't care about food or important stuff) id say cloud stops him. And a lot easier and earlier than glen did.
It wasn't so much that Alexander sucked in his fight with Bradley, (but he really did) as it was the way he basically quit at the end of the fight.
Re: Tavoris Cloud vs. Yusaf Mack on Saturday - June 25th
Cloud is going to smash the balls off Mack. Mack might, and it's a big might, be able to avoid Clouds punches for the first half of the fight, but once Mack slows down - and you know he will - he's fucked.
I'm going to merge this with the stickied thread.

Damn, wish I would have seen that Mastthyse vs. Alexander was only a 10 round fight? Lame as it pits two of the top handfull of 140lbers against each other.
Does anyone know who won Bundu or Petrucci?

Re: Tonights Fights (Sat 25th June)
Alrighty, grab a beer, up first on the HBO BAD card, Stiverne vs Austin- Heavyweights.
Re: Tonights Fights (Sat 25th June)
3 fights tonight Stiverne-Austin and Devon Alexander vs. Lucas Matthysse, 10 rounds, junior welterweights; Tavoris Cloud vs. Yusaf Mack, 12 rounds, for Cloud's IBF light heavyweight title.
Papa, Jones Jr. and Merchant calling the action.
Re: Tonights Fights (Sat 25th June)
So Ray Austin still sucks...
I still love Jones as a commentator, the only element of the sport in which he's still the best P4P.
