He beat one fighter ( Cory Spinks, overrated) to earn the undisputed welterweight championship, it's not like he went through the division and won the title one by one. He only defended that undisputed title once against a bum.
He didn't defend all his titles next fight because Baldomir didn't pay santion fees. Judah went on to lose to Baldomir who is a journeymen meaning his other belts became vacant.
He won the undisputed title 6 years ago by the way, 6 years is a long time ago in boxing.
A fighter who loses to Baldomir is not an elite fighter.
He was a good southpaw then, and has only got worse since.
All of the above.
Most of which is totally incorrect. Fact.

Manny Pacquiao is not an elite southpaw, he is way above that. Judah is "ELITE" he is a 2 weight multiple time world champion who has had his ups and downs in his career. I truly believe he will be Khans biggest test to date and I would not be surprised if he beats Khan.
Pacquiao is an elite southpaw. To be elite is to be one of the best. Thats what it means to me anyway.
Judah is not one of the best, never was and especially not now. You can't be an elite when your best win is over Cory Spinks.
Hatton was a two weight world champion who had his up and downs. He's not regarded as elite although he had a big win over a guy who stopped Judah in 2. :)
Judah can certainly cause Khan alot of problems with his left hand and southpaw stance, i am aware he has the ability to maybe stun Khan and cause the upset although i don't think he will.

Haha this makes me laugh. You make one sentence which claims most of what i wrote is wrong yet, you write nothing to back it up.
Let me break it down for you just so you understand.
-Judah won the undisputed world welterweight title by beating Cory Spinks in 9 rounds. FACT
-Judah then defended his titles against a bum Cosme Rivera who he stopped in 3 rounds. FACT
-Judah then defended his title against Carlos Baldomir. He only defended his WBC title because Baldomir didn't pay the sanctioning fees for the other belts. Judah went on to lose the fight which meant the other titles he didn't defend became vacant and of course the WBC title went to Baldomir. Baldomir's record at the time was 41-9-6 12KOs. It looks elite right ? Baldomir is a journeymen. FACT
-Judah won that title 6 years ago, like a said a long time in boxing. 6 years ago Khan was a prospect fighting the likes of David Bailey and Daniel Thrope. Alot can change in 6 years. FACT
-Judah has only got worse the past few years. Take a look at his record, thats all the proof you need. His best win since beating Spinks ? Mazuba or Matthysse, totally elite fighters right ? lol. FACT

OK totally incorrect was a bit harsh.
You don't have to maintain the belts once you've established yourself as THE MAN. Whether a title is stripped through non-payment of sanction fees or simply discarded is irrelevant.
Judah became undisputed champion beating Spinks. Correct. He won it 6 years ago. Correct. He defended against Rivera. Correct. He then lost his crown against Baldomir. Correct.
The rest is just your opinion.
Judah is currently no.6 ranked by The Ring. 5th by Boxing Monthly. He is the IBF champion (for what it's worth). He has only ever lost once at 140 (Kostya). So whether or not you personally believe him to be shit, he can arguably be called a current "elite" lightwelter. That doesn't make him "elite" like Manny Pac "elite," it just makes him one of the better fighters currently in this particular division.

Now i can agree with that.
He is certainly one of the better fighters at 140. When i think of elite, i can't help but think of Pacquiao, Martinez, etc. Judah just isn't up there with those guys.
Zab certainly has some tools that can cause Khan problems like his left uppercut, quick hands, southpaw stance. I believe he will likely hurt Khan early but i see him fading and Khan taking over, then going on to win a clear decision. Khan might even stop him.
Re: Amir Khan against southpaws
As expected, Fenster and rjj Tszyu knows what they are talking about. But the rest of you............ ya aint got a clue.
Judah is not an elite huh.. wow. This is common sense to anybody who really knows boxing so im not even going to explain..

I agree with this. I really wish there was a common understanding about the differences between 'elite', 'world class' etc. If someone isn't elite what word would you use to describe them? I mean at least to me it signifies the very top echelon, which to me zab clearly never reached, niether has khan, or 99% of fighters.
Khan has however sparred with one. What difference that will make? We'll find out fight night.

haha you make me laugh. You talking a good game but you have shown me nothing that proves to me Judah is elite.
I will make a poll if you want asking our fellow boxing fans if they think Judah is elite. I wouldn't like to upset you but i bet the majority say Judah is not elite. He's one of the better fighters at 140 but an elite fighter..............please.
Is Judah on Pacquiao's level ? answer the question.
Pacquiao = Elite.
Re: Amir Khan against southpaws
Zab Judah was elite skillfully, just not mentally. Remember this is the guy to only legitmately floor Floyd Mayweather Jr, and stylistically gave him quite alot of problems.

Re: Amir Khan against southpaws
Khan should have little trouble against the southpaw stance. Judah is a slick, fast and precise puncher which Khan will need to be very wary of. This is Amir’s best southpaw opponent he has faced. Whether Judah is elite or otherwise does not matter, one thing he is for sure is inconsistent.

What an absolute steaming pile of bullshit
Not aimed at you Ice, just the dildo who created the video.
I've softened on Zab in recent years, I think I should go back & watch his behaviour in this fight & after getting stopped against Tszyu to remind myself why I disliked him so much. Come on Khan!

Yea the way the video is put, is like it was the worst robbery of all time. But still i give Zab Judah credit to knockdown Floyd Mayweather Jr and win 4 rounds, is a great achievement considering how great Floyd Mayweather Jr is.
He probably did give Floyd Mayweather Jr his toughest fight, outside of JLC 1.
