The speculation out there is that Bradley thinks he can get a fight with Pac that's why he's not eager to fight Khan. And to be honest I would rather fight Pac for money, glory, and legacy. And what if Bradley were to beat Pac? He's in position for a very lucrative rematch or an anticipated big money fight with Mayweather. A fight with Pacquiao is a big risk, big reward type of fight, not so much with Khan.
Bradley hasn't fought for 6 months, Pac is fighting in November, so won't be fighting again until at least March, so Bradley refused to fight Khan, coz he was waiting for a fight that couldn't happen for 14 months after his last fight? Surely he could've fit Khan in in that time?
I don't think Bradley is 'afraid' I think he thinks he will lose.
And Mars, why is Khan a clown? Coz he's British?

They are both getting minted and probably pretty happy with things right now
yup it's a win-win for khan losing to floyd or bradley to Pac. the thing is they might actually win.

He makes the fights these days and he is beating his opponents. I really believe that he fears no one and will take on whoever. In that regard Khan is to be commended and I am beginning to show him some respect. I think a Morales fight is pointless, but if Bradley refuses to fight him, then as a stay busy one, then I won't begrudge him that.
Khan is doing it the right way. Win over the critics by staying busy and winning.

No, being British has nothing to do with it, I call Khan a clown because he's a young full of himself kid who sounds like a dimwit when he talks. BTW, I love British accents, just not his.

I think he's off a long active streak with pretty solid comp. He really did come into 'this' somewhat overnight and hit the ground running. The time off should benefit. I was wondering if he was beginning to burn out frankly.
I'm not 100% certain but he has in fact just changed promoters, didn't he have a contract that had to expire etc?
Re: Khan: "Bradley is afraid to fight me"
Bradley needs to step up and make this fight happen, Khan is willing to do whatever it takes to get it done. I'm not defending Bradley but i understand from a business standpoint why this didn't fight didn't happen. Bradley was gauranteed 1.2 million i believe by HBO for his next fight after the Alexander fight regardless of who it was. Khan or any bum of the street 1.2 million. So his thinking has to be, fight some journeyman for 1.2 then fight Khan for a lot of money. It was proven to him the money was gonna be there with Khan in the last go around in negotiations. If he was to fight Khan and lose, there was no way his next fight would be for a 1 mil payday. So now he has a chance to have two fights at over 1 million dollars each. Good for Bradley's pockets, bad for the fight fans. Hopefully it's the fight we get to see next.
Re: Khan: "Bradley is afraid to fight me"
Bradley's HBO deal to get $1.2 million against anyone after the Alexander fight is not correct.
The $1.2 million guarantee was based on four opponents - Alexander rematch, Berto, Maidana and Khan.
Now everyone knows Bradley-Alexander absolutely STUNK. Shit TV numbers. Embarrassingly shit ticket sales. Bradley has ZERO fans. Khan's Team then offer Bradley a 50-50 split on everything which will make him in excess of $1.5 million. He turns it down. Khan then AMAZINGLY offers him half - yes seriously 50%!!! - of his British PPV money. Utter madness. Bradley refuses.
Khan bent over backwards to make Bradley fight. If the situation was reversed, there would be a million threads on here calling Khan a coward, fraud, fake, con, etc.
Luckily for Bradley he doesn't have the disadvantage of being from Britain ;)
Re: Khan: "Bradley is afraid to fight me"
How the fuck has everyone forgotten that he going to make a million regardless even you bilbo said it was right chose to take the million fight who ever then get in there with khan. Bradley is not a huge draw it would be dumb of him not to take the fight get teh mill and then go fight khan and make another mill. I think teh figth while happen he may fight another person before khan but i am pretty sure the fight between this guys just going to be a few fights away i dont think they are going to not fight on another.
Re: Khan: "Bradley is afraid to fight me"
Khan needs to try and push for a fight with Bradley if it can happen I think Khan will win. As for Khans next fights why is he going to fight Morales? Bit of shit fight IMO and why is he going to fight Floyd Mayweather? How does he deserve this fight? And why is Floyd not fighting manny? If he fights Khan over Manny I am going to be so annoyed! Khan should keep away from Floyd IMO, try and get a fight with Bradley and move up to 147. I would love to see Khan against Berto or Ortiz in the US and if he can get a fight in the UK I think a fight with Kell Brook would be interesting.

Right, Bradley isn't anything like Judah, but now, according to some of his fans, Khan is the next big thing in boxing. I mean come on people, Khan nearly gets KTFO by Maidana, and then beats up on Judah, a washed up journeyman, and all of a sudden he's a fuckin' world beater who everyone is afraid to fight?

The thread isn't about Bradley's fight selections, it's about Mars-Ax having a go at Khan for calling Bradley out on it.
Khan is doing everything a true champion should, and trying his best to fight the top guys. Nobody could ever say of Amir Khan that he isn't in it for the glory rather than the money.
Whilst Bradley makes smart business decisions, (as Floyd has done throughout his career also) Amir is really wanting to prove himself against the best, and calling Bradley out for not doing the same.
I find it baffling that posters will whine and bitch about this guy ducking that guy and not taking the best opposition and then Amir, who even Miles recognises is doing the opposite and trying to fight the best opponents out there regardless of risk gets flak for calling out the Ring number 1 rated junior welter when he flat out refuses to fight him, after calling him out in the first place.
Bradley called out Khan, Khan accepted and Bradley backed out. That's the facts. Yes, probably a smart business decision but you have to love a guy who puts challenges ahead of safe cash.

Its just keeping perspective about both frankly. Judah has been a gate keeper for some time, save all the Champion talk. Beat around in his last few fights. But he brought a name, a trinket & he still had wind up bombs and ring smarts, thats really all thats left. Khan has improved too. I'm no fan but he has better presence in there and mobility and the wing span of a condor. When you go life and death with Maidana only to see him get out guiled and essentially out boxed by a shadow of Morales...he's progressing but the Bradley is afraid of me is nonsense
