I'm gonna go out on limb and guess it was because he was being an unfunny dickhead? Ofc that paints a broad stroke for any online community. But I'll tell you one thing I don't like for sure. Fucking racoons who keep tearing up my garbage. They don't have much humor in them either.
Also peas. Never really liked those either. It isn't so much he taste but the texture.
Asparagus on the other hand is good with butter. Even BBQ'd. Plus I laugh after when my pee smells like asparagus. So ya, asparagus is pretty cool.

Well then a lot more people should be banned than just me. Just checking the rules, apparently anything on these boards goes as long as it's not racist or breaking the law. So I'm well withing in the rules of these boards to call you complete fucking dickhead if I want to.

To be fair I don't mind Hornfinger. He's a bit extreme and thus quite mad, but very entertaining.
The difference is that Bilbo doesn't scorn all the time people with unappropriate stuff and when he does so, 90% of the time it's for a good laugh and to stir up some controversy to feed his lust for entertainment. Horny is just a proper nuisance.
