House buying advice

the real question is do you want to lose this house for the sake of £6.500 but your offer is right IMHO

I personally only buy houses that I get cheap... I would be looking at a shitload of houses in the £190,000 area and would offer £170,000 on all of them until i got a bite.

and you will get a bite eventually trust me as there are alot of people in the shit and ready to be took advantage of ;)

there are plenty houses on the market mate and its a massive decision... one of the biggest things you will ever buy in your life so my advice would be don't rush into anything :cool::cool::cool:

I went round and saw the guy and we shook hands at £173,000. The house is deffo worth that and it's the only house we want, so I have no concerns about it at all. I would've paid the asking price if I got outbidded, coz the house is that nice.

3 Bed detached, triple drive, 3 bathrooms (1 = ensuite) 2 living rooms - it's the daddy!

Let's just hope it all goes through ok.

Sounds a nice house, as a man when you move in always set the TV first, that is the most important, then align the sofa and the rest will follow. :)

Crazy innit :D Like I said before, just 30 miles up the road it would be around £300K. I live in quite a nice, affluent Tory stronghold area - but houses are just cheap as shit.

We're the same down here, houses are pretty cheap.

My 6000 square foot pub renovation I'm doing only cost £162k for the whole house.

My new house is in fucking ruins though! Some pikey bastards have been in there and ripped out all the electrical and copper pipes. I wouldnt care because I'm taking it out anyway, but they've made a right mess while they were doing it.

one of our localish opportunity shops or thrift shops as you guys call them has had a number of break ins and hundreds upon hundreds of pairs of new and used knickers and bras have been knicked excuse the pun.

They even put saw through proof bolts onto their storage shed to stop them and 'they' cut through the lock with an oxy torch!

WTF :confused: Cops recon its either a couple of deviants with a house full, or maybe Vietnamese marketers that will sell them off at weekend markets.

Fuckin annoying isn't it? Me and my Dad have got a small building firm where we buy land and build the houses ourselves to sell. I've had one of the houses for myself off our current site and had to move in a couple weeks ago before it's finished to stop this thieving shit

The scramels kept breaking in to the house to steal the tat (metal).

In my house alone they smashed the patio window, screwed off all my new chrome sockets and switches whilst fucking up the electrics in the process. The pulled all the taps off the sinks and handles off my newly fitted kitchen. They also ripped the shower out of my bathroom.

They would've damaged everything they took so they weren't planning to sell it on, just to weigh it in down the local scrap yard.

The damage they caused has cost us more than what they stole, wankers!!

Not only has my new house been a favourite for these metal magpies, my back garden appears to be the new dumping ground for a local builder. About a ton of rubble, fresh cut grass and other crap appeared there yesterday.

Also where they have ripped the pipes out upstairs, it's left a leak that has damaged some of the ceiling downstairs.

Little pikey bastards!

Going to do one giant bonfire today though which is always fun!
