Re: Wonder if there will be a rematch?
From what I observed Floyd was getting more into the grove as the fight progressed, especially starting in round 3.
Despite Ortiz's flurry toward the end, it looked very possible that a Floyd win via KO could have materialized by the 10th.
If Ortiz wants a rematch, I say why not. But I don't see him being anymore likely to win.
Re: Wonder if there will be a rematch?
No way there'll be a rematch. There's no way the PPV 2nd time round will beat this. Ortiz was shit in the build-up to this fight. Boring on 24/7. Boring at the press conferences.
Then he metally cracks in the ring. Throws a blatant headbutt. Invites Floyd to throw a combo at his unprotected head.
And that's all she wrote. (Well said Floyd)
Re: Wonder if there will be a rematch?
i wouldnt be that bothered about a rematch really, i dont think Ortiz was in the fight and the longer it went the easier it would have got
the headbutt was frustration, and my view might be a bit contriversial but i thought Ortiz bailed, i dont think he was as badly hurt as he made out, i thnk he saw an opportunity and took it
Re: Wonder if there will be a rematch?
If Ortiz wasn't really dazed by the knockdown how did he fake his body going limp from the moment Floyd whacked him?
Come on guys... he clearly reacted like someone that doesn't even know they've been knocked out

Your probably right, I'm just a bit too pessimistic at times.
I suppose he just accepted It for what it was after his dirtiness.
im not sure his body was that limp (admittedly i havent watched it since)
