Sounds crazy but this is why I say peace is overrated. The world is a big place. Big enough for everyone. We shouldn't let a little language barrier get in the way. I'm sure every country has a way of life to suit someone... If you want to live a nomadic life, fuck off to Mongolia... Andre, they own the land BUT only have planning permission for part of it....which means kicking out 400 folks. If you're travellers why have statics, why say you've been there for 10 years....have nowhere to go (doesn't stop them parking up on any bit of green land they find, shitting in bushes and leaving bags of rubbish, gas bottles, fridges etc for council payers money to clean up).

No in all seriousness, I admire you for going over to Korea. Obviously I can't tell if it is REALLY right for you but it is very commendable at least, that you made the decision to go. I think we all should have that Global mentality. My wife has serious plans to move to Australia and I am very reluctant but I wish I wasn't... 10 years next year! Lots of ups and downs, but in terms of career am on the up so have no regrets. Most people are too scared of taking a jump, but the experience has changed me and I think for the better. There are things I could never have changed whilst living in the UK. If your wife is serious and the prospects are serious then you should loosen up. There is always that chance that it works out and already you know you've given up on England.
