lol wow I'd love to sell you a mac and talk about the fantastic features of the OS but I fear that would just alienate you further people seem to think Mac owners are pretentious but to me it's just a computer that works very well.

For the things I use a computer for: communication, storage (music, pictures, files, etc.), and so on. A PC does the job. Why would I want to pay double/triple for a computer that does the same but looks nicey from the outside? Besides, there seems to be more software out there for PC anyways.
If there is something I like about Macs is their look:cool:.
Anybody who gets or prefers macs are merely ignorant when it comes to computers.
There is literally no reason to buy a mac over a PC. And I dare anybody to try and prove me wrong. When it comes down to it, the only things that Apple sells are overrated, over priced, shiny pieces of shit.
Come at me, bro.
Actually the profession I'm in uses Macs. Why? Because Windows (any version) can't even handle the usage of graphic tablets without freezing, crashing, BSOD. No elite art schools in the U.S. uses a PC and they teach students to use a Mac because of stability. The number 1 and only reason.
The game, film, and animation industry don't use PCs with Windows installled? Why? BEcause it's an unreliable fucker. It's not because people in the industry wants to be cool or chic or standout. It's because when you're working on a multi-million dollar project having freezes, BSOD, crashes, and incompatibility with equipment are unacceptable. There's a reason why the creative industry uses a Mac, and it's to get stuff done in a timely manner.
Now if you're a regular Joe that needs a computer to browse the internet, access email, and watch Youtube, then use a PC because it's much cheaper. A Mac is more for the creative people or people who work in the industries I've mentioned.
I remember reading a few years ago that the White House, Nasa and those agencies don't use a PC or Mac but something else. Because a PC with windows installed is going to inevitably get crashes, BSOD, a virus, or get hacked. And a Mac can get hack and a trojan but it's rare. I heard it's a variant of Linux that they use. Makes sense because it is arguably the most secure way of using a computer.
