Or Mayweather and Katsidis.
Out of Marquez and Pacquiao, it will be Pacquiao whos age will effect him more because he doesnt have the skills that can carry Marquez amongst the sports best at 38. If he suddenly slows down a little, Marquez WILL take advantage. Look at his last few opponents, none of them have the skill to counter speed, so we wouldnt have seen the evidence of him slowing down if he has. He may just get a shock suddenly up against a man who has an answer for everything he does and doesnt just want to touch gloves all night, or put up the ear muff defence or be a walking punch bag.
Does this mean that you'll give Pacquiao credit after he beats Marquez?
Why wouldnt I?
Are you a pinoy because that sounds like the shite they come out with. As if everyones against the Phillipines if someone so much as criticises a boxer! Iv pointed out that Mannys last few opponents were there to be hit and arent known for their boxing skill.
I'm just curious as to how you stand based on your comment above and your answer appears consistent with your comment. Because there are probably those who would give JMM a chance but would not give Manny credit no matter how he wins the fight. For those who thinks that JMM has no chance at all of winning, then it is understandable for them not to give the Pacman any credit.
My opinion is that JMM has a chance in this fight no matter how slim it may be. This is boxing and anything can happen.
With regards to the topic of this thread, I believe that's just a publicity ploy by Floyd. In the unlikely event of a Pacquiao loss, nobody can say that Mayweather avoided him because he already HINTED on the fight prior to the loss. But Floyd already hinted on their fight in his press conference for the Ortiz fight just to deny it some time later (both caught on video). Both of them signing a contract is not even a guarantee that they will fight. I would only believe that when both of them steps in the ring.

What a horrid generalization to make, GB. You are usually better than that.

Generalizations tend to have some truth to them.

Meh, anyone can claim whatever they want on the internet. You know like someone here famously claiming that he can beat 1 of the top boxers in the world because he swims a little and boxes a little and has some height and weight advantage. For all I know the only "competing" you've done was playing Fight Night Round 4 as Mike Tyson on the Playstation.

Why don't you present your argument that invalidates our opinion instead of just coming out with some dickhead comments? Miles is right, you are usually better than that. Are you drunk or on drugs, or did your brain shrink due to inactivity?

Roy Jones Jr.
"In boxing, you can't just concede to your opponent's demands, because that's like losing the first round of the fight". Conceding to your opponent's demands is losing the mental aspects.
That's why Pacman said he'd take the Boxing anti-doping drug tests, not under Fairweather's terms.
Mayweather also wanted Pacman to agree to not practice outside of the United States....
WTF!!!!
either fight or just stop talking about it
