Hey I actually though JMM would get blitzed within 5. My reasons were age and fighting out of his weight class vs this current form of Pac. I am wrong. And I have no problems admitting it or you gloating a little, for I considered you to be a great fan of boxing that is unbias and knows his stuff. The Ricky Hatton and David Haye fans on the other hand.................well I'll just say JMM proved me wrong and I thought he won the fight, although there were many close rounds.

Went into this fight hoping manny would knock marquez out in rounds 7 to 12. Even made a bet with a friend who I thought had absolutely no idea what boxing was all about (was a girl, said manny would lose.. i know.. I'm a terrible human being). Now I'm down somewhere around $10 and my ego seriously bruised. Marquez, what a hell of a fighter.

I just think that the same way I had to read all those comments of people dragging Marquez name down and calling him shit they should also now read my comments...;D

JMM is a great fighter , he has never been beaten by anyone who isnt top draw , but seems to be shafted in close fights , he is a joy to watch.

I thought Juan was the underdog on weight and age in this.
Always on his side though.
But I called the fight exactly if you look back about 2 days ago you'll see I said if he boxes and stays in control and doesn't lose his head he can outbox him.

Said the same as what ICB said, Pac hasnt changed as a fighter...hes just had good run stylistically. JMM counter punching and timing is his kryptonite. Never doubted JMM for one second.

I agree with all that and its probably the way it will go,but I reckon Juan is the better boxer. If he has done his homework and has really thought this out we may see a totally different style of fight from him. He may look to break up the timing and counter in between. He get caught when goes right at it so he may adjust for that in this last fight.

TOTALLY PISSED OFF JMM is poetry in motion the crowd knew and so did Pac robbed again:mad:

A lot of the Manny fans also said he lost with the exception of PSL so let's not go there. And a lot of boxing fans thought Floyd lost the 1st Castillo fight that was ruled in his favor.

Mick - I'm with you 100%. I didn't understand how these posters were writing JMM off so quickly after the first two fights between these guys were so close. It didn't make sense to me. This had close fight written all over it.

I'm not only referring to the ones here on Saddo's bro, I've even read one post that Manny deserved to get the decision because he had knocked Marquez down in previous bouts....c'mon bro this is grade A bullshit, and yea Floyd was lucky against Castillo but he then won the rematch CLEARLY, Manny and JMM have done this dance 3 times already and every single time Marquez wins more rounds than Pacquiao only to get ripped off, that's what really pisses me off

Manny fights a tough fight against Marquez and now he's a fraud? Are you kidding me? This isn't the time to put Manny down. It's the opposite! If Pacquiao had walked through him, everyone on this board would have said "Manny was too big," "he punches too hard," "he's on ped's," "he was cherrypicking because JMM is old" etc. Then he gets into a tough fight with Marquez and people are screaming Pac's a fraud!?! Come on, man. JMM is a legend. He was before this fight. The writing has been on the wall. He only went above 135 once and that was against the best in the world. Losing against Mayweather is no shame. Marquez fans knew he had Pacquiao's number. Pacquiao knew this was going to be a tough fight, which is why he took this training camp more seriously. It doesn't mean any less of his other accomplishments. It means Marquez and Pacquiao make for good damn fights.
