How did you score Pac/Marquez 3?

by 4. He gave Marquez the 12th round. I thought Pac won that round. It is almost as if he gave that round to Marquez because he didn't want to turn in a 117-111 scorecard.

he thought Pac won 8 of the first 11 rounds. NO matter how you scored the fight, someone turning in that scorecard shouldn't be able to judge again.

7 to 5 Marquez, that was giving everything but the kitchen sink to Pac

I think there was some rounds without a lot of action which made them hard to score but overall JMM landed the better shots, His movement was great he didnt get drawn in to an all out war but when there was exchanges he was holding his own. Pac seemed unable to close the gap effectively and he was bouncing around too much without doing much, why wasn't he exploding in to attacks and throwing a high volume of punches from different angles? Jmm was in great condition (both were)

Round 1 could have been given to Marquez, as could round 11 and some other rounds you can change round who you gave them to but either way you look at it JMM wins.

Pac did not seem as though he thought he won but of course he isn't going to say that. Wasn't as bad as Lewis v Holyfield 1 but the wrong guy definitely got the decision i reckon. Good fight though.

People will forget about this when all the casual fans start shouting for Pac vs Mayweather to happen in May

2 of the judges had Pac actually up 4 rounds to 2 after 6 rounds.

they all thought Pac won round 2. Which I'm perplexed by. That was Marquez's round.

Which didn't make sense. When you score a fight there are rounds you score for 1 guy and you could flip as you admit it was a close close round. Round 3 was like that to me. Round 2 wasn't!!!

Round 8- 2 of the judges disagreed with you. Another round I scored for Marquez and didn't put close beside to indicate it could easily be flipped.

It's one thing i love about boxing is how everyone can see a fight different but not the extent that a clear win for 1 guy is not given to him. People are saying they are going to watch the fight again and see if their scores are any different, Maybe if the judges watched the fight again on tv away from the live crowd and concentrate 100% they might see it different too. (not that anything could be done about it)
Some rounds could be flipped as you say but no way did Manny win the fight. JMM must be so disheartened after that I would be amazed if he would want to go through another tough training camp just to risk having a win taken from him.

Rd. 1 nothing much to chose from but rd goes to the champion.
Rd. 7, at the conclusion of this rd Freddy tells Manny "You need to use your hand speed. Your letting him get off on you Manny. You need more combinations"
Rd. 12 was a close rd in the sense that I felt JMM landed more shots but I think Pac wanted the rd more and he closed it out stronger with the rally and a left hand he landed.
In a similar rd, rd. 4 where it was close Pac landed more shots and eventough JMM wanted the rd more and closed it out strong with a right hand I didn't think it was enough to win it.

I just downloaded the fight to rescore it. I'll post my card when I'm done.

When I watched it live I felt that Marquez had won by a decent margin, but there were several close rounds.

It was the worst fight out of the 3. Both guys were too cautious and slower than they used to be. Looks like both are past their best and the fight never really caught fire despite afew good exchanges. This is the score I had. Only giving Pac 2 rd's. Just didnt push enough. It looked like he was cautious to throw incase he got counted, which is exactly what happened. If this Manny turns up against Floyd, he wont win a single round.

I had it JMM 7 to 5 MP today after rewatching it from Mannys point of view.

I had it 116-112 to JMM, but when i get time i'll rewatch it in better quality.

just rewatched the fight, and again scored the fight 8 rounds to 4 for JMM, this is a rare occasion that you have to tell the Pacquiao fanboys to rewatch the fight with an unbiased opinion and with audio off
