Fluff is probably a person on this show that barbecues cockroaches, sucks her thumb and say 'fuck' a lot. Most likely had 4 top 20 hits a decade ago.
Why people need to watch it is beyond me. It is very dumb and can only describe the demographic of people feeling a need to watch it.

Really? .

Well, I would assume that people who watch reality shows are most likely to be sofa dwelling, overweight, numbskulls who read Heat magazine. I could be wrong, but knowing the demographics of the UK I am most likely correct.
Now all I am asking for is a little bit of scientific evidence as my assumptions could very well be very correct.
As a self proclaimed intellect Miles you should be aware that assumption is the mutha of all fcukups, it simply make an ass out of u and me ;)
I don't mind saying silly things sometimes anyway, but I don't see what I have said that is silly here.
I dont recall saying you said anything silly, more astounded that you took bulldog serious with his quote :cool:

Have you noticed the headlines in the popular media lately? What do you make of this?
1. "Wildly Funny Umpire's Gesture"
2. "Tennis Star's Ugly Comment"
3. "Celeb's Dirty Secret"
4. "Worst Thing to Say to your Boss"
5. "Two Things Your Wife will Never Tell You----Ever!", etc
WTF is going on here? These headlines play to people's morbid, perverted insecurities in a vicarious sort of way. This tells me the human species is very close to extinction.

Do you know how many scientific journals are out there? How many newspaper rags that pick up on scientific tittle tattle? It is a potential means of research really and I would imagine that my assumptions would be correct, but clearly those would only be hypothetical assumptions. You would need accurate tools and samples to either substantiate or debunk those brilliant deductions.

It tells me that people are incredibly stupid and they enjoy nothing more than watching animals in a cage and that is what these programmes are. It is to give incredibly lazy, stupid people something to gloat about after finishing 9 hours doing a job that they know is worthless. What can make you feel better? Watching others suffer even more....
That is reality TV.

No, I hate them all. But if you want to indulge then fair enough.
I don't like watching pointless people with no skills be evaluated by other people with no skills and then be able to sell records.
It just highlights the shame for what it is.
Re: "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!"
shame on homo sapiens
a bunch of fucking APE-iens
not a shred of elegance
nor a smidgeon of intelligence;
smiling babbling simpleton asses
men and boys, battle-axes and lasses
diarrhea of the mouth, constipation of the brain
driving us erudite abstruse esoterics insane;
pierce their skulls and throw them in the corner--
and their guts sucked out by the mediocre coroner.

Really? I would imagine that it is likely true, but what research have you taken this from? Just curious as I think it sounds interesting.
Anyway, as a self confessed genius and tortured poet I most definitely do not watch reality TV shows. In fact I have an aversion to most television.
Most of it is fluff.
My little sister is a sociology major, she has all this data with academic scientific journals. I should correct myself and say the people that watch these reality shows have a lower IQ than the population's mean of 100. Usually around 80-95. I wouldn't say it causes low IQ but that people that watch it has LOWER IQs than the mean of 100. It said something that people with lower IQ than the mean of 100 tend to engage in non-intellectual activity more and watching reality tv shows was one of them. I remember it was in some issue of Social Psychology. I'll try to find it and post it.
Pretty interesting huh?
