Not too many arguments, but with 2 points deducted and arguably a knockdown that was ruled a slip, Khan's gotta be upset. If you just look at the actual fighting, he probably won, but it was close.

I sadly only got to see the first six rounds of this and no copy up yet it seems, but sounds like it was close and controversial. Khan has grown on me over the last few years and from the six rounds i saw he was already showing grit and sturdiness that many say he doesn't have, and well now he can stop chasing pbf at least. Cant comment to much more since I havent seen the fight other than this really has no bearing on the outcome of a bradley khan fight, styles make fights. Also good on peterson on finally climbing over the hurdle, albeit perhaps with a bit of homecookin.
Yes it was close and deductions aside Khan would still have his titles.
But we all saw another deduction coming and like Peterson I thought it would be for the head holding. I had Khan one up going into last.
Khan will come back from this and he hasn't lost too much cred from it imo - but his hit and run style has again showed a weakness against the seasoned fighters. If Petersen had a bigger punch he would have finished Khan in the mid rounds.
Thats life and Khan should prevail in a rematch - Khan has a stoppage win over barrera on his resume ffs !;) it happens !
I'm sure we'll see a rematch in the UK and Khan will win by wide UD.
He was clearly the better fighter, but not quite on the night.
