By the way, cheers for the rep! It was plainly obvious thats what was going to happen really. Lesnar did it in his last fight, just hid on the floor, he has no heart. Hes not an mma fiter, hes had 7 fights and lost 3;D
Yes he's 3 years old full of energy and we call him "Da Babah" and often say he looks like Overeem in the face. Reem is Babah in human form ;D
Shar peis were orginally bred to be fighting dogs like pitbulls, so they can be aggressive towards other dogs. Ours is mostly a nice babah though, unless you take away one of his bones or toys.
Lesnar did show heart against Shane Carwin in coming back from that onslaught in the 1st to win in the 2nd.
Aside from that he has mostly just behaved like a big bully who is scared to get hit hard in return.

Damn was I wrong about Brock. I thought he would win easy but he seemed himself to know before he went into the fight that he was effectively finished.

Surprise of the night for me was Nate Diaz. He dominated Cerrone and suddenly looks world class now. Always loved the Diaz brothers so hope he does well. Would love to see him in with Ben Henderson.

Dos Santos has better hands than Reem and better jiu jitsu I'd reckon, but Reem is bigger, stronger, has better overall strikes and may be faster as well.
And yes it was very surprising how good Nate Diaz looked, I say put him in there with Rory McDonald and see if Diaz gets smashed again or not.
I personally can't stand either of the Diaz brothers, they're scum of the earth who would just assume mug you, slit your throat and rape your wife.

Overeem vs Dos Santos will be a good match. I like them both but I want to see Overeem win his fourth heavyweight title in four different organization. He didn't have to fight Brock, he is already the Strikeforce champ. I guess he didn't want to wait for the Dos Santos/ Velasquez winner. Now they will unify the title when Overeem/ Dos Santos fights.
I dont think people know Overeem very well, but atleast the odds maker sort of did because they had him as the favorite. Brock is a wrestler who is trying to learn MMA. Overeem is a pure MMA fighter. He is an elite striker but he actually has more submission wins.
I was dissapointed with Cerrone, he fought like an idiot. Brought zero head movement in the fight and play right into the Diaz gameplan. I thought Cerrone had a higher fighting I.Q.

I completely agree about Cerrone. Still like the guy and think he is one hell of a bad ass, but damn it if he didn't play right into Diaz hands. All amped up mad and stupid. Got himself schooled for it.

Jimy Hettes looked amazing in his fight aginst Pham who is one tough guy. He totaly dominated that kid has huge potential I can see him beating Aldo right now let alone a few years down the line when he has more experience.
Alexander Gustafasson looked really good too against Vlad who seemed to be back on the up until that fight. He has some serious potential too I think he can be a real force in the Light heavyweight division with his size and power! 6ft 5!
Dong Hyun Kim a guy I think is a good talent put on a great fight and he utilized his kicks really well. I would like to see him climb up the ranks and rematch Condit but that is way down the line.
Ross Pearson had a close fight but I think he looked good for his first fight down at featherweight. He has great hands when he gets going!

Cerrone sid Diaz got into his head and that effected him badly. Usually he is a smart fighter! Love to see a rematch down the line.

Agree with all this apart from the Cerrone Diaz fight ;D,
As a fan of the Diaz brothers, I was well impressed with Nate's performance against a very dangerous striker in Donald. I carnt understand why Cerrone didnt get those leg kicks going earlier, although they were'nt hurting shots, they were enough to disrupt Nate's striking.
Also Nate set a compubox record for striking in that fight for % landed, very accurate striking, just needs more power to them. If ya have read the article on his striking I posted ya will understand how effective it is and how deceiving the power can be.
Really looking forward to the Dos Santos v Overeem match, pure striking game, should be a belter. Going for Dos Santos as my pick.
Heard yesterday Cain is penned in to fight Mir next, that should also be a great matchup !!

Just read Velasquez vs Silva is being made for UFC 146. That's a better match up than Mir vs Velasquez.
