A facebook war has started against him....well now those Occupy nutjobs can see what their little flashmobs do to REALLY evil people.........it'll make him laugh and say "Aww how precious".
Perhaps I too am a cynic or maybe I am just pragmatic, but the assholes that argue AGAINST war and protest for peace and understanding and all that hippy "We can make the world perfect" bullshit don't seem to understand that it's a jungle out there and if you're not willing to FIGHT for a cause then someone will beat you. I'm willing to bet this Kony cat would fight to the death to keep doing what he's doing meanwhile the kids with all their good intentions are only willing to post bullshit on facebook....yeah that will REALLY help those kids :vd: get a clue!
As for Obama...the Nobel PEACE Prize winning empty suit of a President. He knows there's no need to go fight in Uganda, there's nothing there of importance to his party's agenda, same with the Republicans too, I'm not demeaning either side on the issue. Fighting in Uganda offers us nothing...you've seen how the media has portrayed our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan....fighting in Uganda and Sudan may have started out as noble causes, but #1 There's no set goal #2 It is a waste of money and lives

You're absolutely spot on, mate. There's nothing we can do about this issue other than actual action. Like, buying from the invisible children and whatnot.
To be honest, I can't stand those that put up all the movements their in on facebook. If the main objective is to have a group of people whine collectively, you might as well off yourself.

Don't get me wrong, the dude sounds like a horrible human being, but the whiny little protesters over here that are holding up signs, chanting some bullshit about "fairness", while eating their vegan cookies and drinking their soy lattes have 0 fucking clue about how hard life can be. Now do I have experience in war torn countries and extreme poverty? No, but I have a good idea that those "Trustafarians" (Champagne Socialists, Fauxhemian, Rainbow Nazis, whatever you want to call them) wouldn't do so well seeing how in free society they've chosen to do absolutely fuck all with all the advantages they have.
Anyone can espouse a cause.....it takes some guts to go make some change happen. For example, how many Occupy people are even going to run for office? I haven't heard of many at all...you can protest day and night, but nothing gets solved...same shit with Kony, he doesn't know or care about who you are or what you say about him on facebook, to him all these facebook activists are amusing...if he even knows about them at all.

That kind of pressure may work on companies over here in the free world, but Kony could give 2 shits about what some middle class WASP thinks of him and his child army. Boycotting goods & services is one thing, boycotting or trying to shame a tyrant from halfway around the globe is quite a different thing.

This campaign made the news here tonight and it seems that the last time Kony done an attack was in 2004 and he has not been seen or heard of since then and the people there are wondering where he is themselves and are bemused by the kony 2012 campaign.
So it seems my first instinct about the reasoning behind this campaign remain the same....
