The fight was a great effort but Salido had his number and that is all there was to it in the end. Showtime shamelessly cheered him on and praised his efforts leaving Salido looking like a little bit of a villain for defeating their sweet boy. He looked like a child with his hands caught in the cookie jar, mischievous. It was hard enough growing up after the first defeat but the accusations was like a child blaming others for the disappearance of the cookies. It wasn't meant to be funny when he used Puerto Rico in the statements he made bout the referee. He lost and was angry that the fight was stopped. My favorite sport does not need another injury and Juan Ma should have got on his knees and thanked providence that he was even a champion. He should have done his apology in person and apologized to us we all thought it was a great fight but we didn't want him hurt bad either. The remarks involving Puerto Rico was in bad taste and I always believed boxing was a sport and not some diplomatic ploy for politics and we should always remember that diplomacy is just another phrase for organized bullshit. He should never had said but since he was in an apologizing mode, person to person is the mode he should have used otherwise it was a great fight.
We need to not be so judging with people. JuanMa was in a boat that many of us have never been in.
