The more I think about it, the more that sounds logical. It's just I have always thought Kessler was overrated--famous for giving Calzaghe 4 good rounds. After I read Cliff Rold's piece
Mikkel Kessler-Allan Green: The Pre-Fight Report Card - Boxing News, it donned on me that Kessler has beat some decent titlists and is a former champion, perhaps I was underrating him. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Kessler is a good, but flawed fighter. He has no inside game and he doesn't adjust. Every time he has stepped up, he's lost. However, he has never lost to a fighter of Green's level, and I don't imagine it'll happen tonight. At the end of the day, I'm rooting for Green, but it's an uphill battle.
