Jones was winning it easily before Bailey caught him with that uppercut. So we shouldn't fool ourselves into thinking Bailey is going to hold that title for very long. If anything he'll be the champ everyone goes after.

And thats fine, I don't expect Bailey to beat Hopkins record for defending his belt, but I do expect him and his family to receive one more big payday for him to hopefully retire on.
He's a prize fighter after all.

He might be but I dont think it would have made all that big of difference.
It was odd. He looked like he had the seed planted in his head from the very first round and right hand he felt. He almost lulled himself to sleep as much as half the fans in there, mentally and physically don't think he was prepared to carry that punch. He was in shock off right to end round then concussed before he hit the ground in next one to end it. It was refreshing in post fight, Max kept making excuses but Jones was all class and frank.

One punch can change a lopsided fight. I had Jones winning easily before that punch.

True enough and Bailey spiked his guard with that straight right. That upper cut was perfect timing. I'll get the gif in a moment.

Bailey is always dangerous, one of the best right hands in the business. Jones got complacent and paid the penalty. He had the fight in the bag, but as the old saying goes...it ain't over till it's over! Well done to Bailey, he has had a great career and fought everybody, i hope he gets a massive pay day in his next fight.
