Re: Thomas Dulorme vs. Luis Carlos Abregu on HBO BAD tonight
Oct. 27
At Verona, N.Y. (HBO): Thomas Dulorme vs. Luis Carlos Abregu, 10 rounds, welterweights; Miguel Vazquez vs. Marvin Quintero, 12 rounds, for Vazquez's IBF lightweight title; Mauricio Herrera vs. Karim Mayfield, 10 rounds, junior welterweights.
Re: Thomas Dulorme vs. Luis Carlos Abregu on HBO BAD tonight
Pretty solid card. We are seeing an increase in triple headers it seems and that's a good thing! It may be a long shot but I wouldn't be totally shocked to see upsets. Herrera reminds me of a Carlos Molina and up until his last go Mayfield isn't awe inspiring. Abregu is awkward dangerous, as much for a headbutt, shoulder block as he is a wide bomb. Be nice to see words for Manny but honestly ten count isn't enough. They could sound that bell for three hours and he'd still be due. That man leaves a massive void.

Why the fuck can't I view the second page of this thread?

Vazquez I think is the only safe bet for tonight. I can easily see Mayfield losing. And if Abregu can handle Dulorme power he beats him. But considering the way Irving Garcia almost had him out that might be asking to much from Abregu

I got it fixed myself Missy, I altered/edited the OP a bit in "advanced mode" and it began working for me.
I especially wanted to see the tribute HBO will have for Manny Steward tonight, it should be well worth watching.
cheers

Alrighty, here we go, Kellerman Papa, and RJJ calling the action for HBO, first up, Miguel Vazquez vs. Marvin Quintero, 12 rounds, for Vazquez's IBF lightweight title.

I think he may sponge what Vasquez can dish but dish he will, constant and a very crafty dude!
Nice piece on Mitchell...want to like em but cannot see him going real far but it'll be tv friendly.
Re: Thomas Dulorme vs. Luis Carlos Abregu Saturday night fight/chat thread
Now I see why, even though it's a IBF lightweight title fight, Vazquez vs. Quintero isn't the main event. :-X

I like Mitchell, he should just keep gaining experiece and not worry about fighting a Klitschko for a while, Povetkin would be a nice fight for him next year sometime.
Re: Thomas Dulorme vs. Luis Carlos Abregu Saturday night fight/chat thread
Vasquez needs to do what he does and box his game. Thought we were back in Brooklyn for a second with all the booing..in the 1st round :p
Re: Thomas Dulorme vs. Luis Carlos Abregu Saturday night fight/chat thread
@Spicoli, ever drink any Newcastle Brown Ale? I'm getting addicted to the stuff. ;)
Re: Thomas Dulorme vs. Luis Carlos Abregu Saturday night fight/chat thread
Vasquez wants to fight the winner of DeMarco - Broner? He'd get starched by either one of those Pugs.
