Why take a side in it at all , or is it justification of a political alliance? Both sides use deplorable measures, its just one side has more technology and more cash and more freedom available to it, those things do not automatically make its acts holy and righteous either.
This is the important point. Hamas does not represent all Palestinians just as the hardline the Israelie Government has taken is not representative of the feelings of all Israelies. Just because some Arabic news media is happy to used faked propaganda this does not discredit the overwhelming statistical and independently verified evidence of widespread innocent civilian casualties gathered and presented by reputable agencies. The babies, children and women killed cannot be described as anything but innocent victims. It is also equally insensitive and duplicitous to use this tragedy as a point scoring exercise to further a political agenda in which the thousands of rockets fired, suicide bombs detonated and executions by terrorist factions carried out by Palestinians or their supporters are conveniently ignored in an effort to blame the USA and Britain.
You don't think you are exagerrating the Palestinian menace somewhat? Currently there are 28 dead Palestians and 3 dead Israeli's. It is easy to blame terrorists on the Muslim side, but the Israeli military is state sponsored terrorism. As usual the force distributed from the Israeli side is massively overblown. We saw the same thing with 1400 killed in the massacre of 4 years ago with the majority being women and children. That is terrorism. Land theft is crime. If there was no occupation there would be no need to resort to rockets. And lest we not forget that this latest upset was caused by the needless Israeli murder of a 12 year old boy.
Re: Oh those poor Palestinians
Israel is automatically the aggressor in treating Gaza like a concentration camp and resisting a fair solution to the Palestine state question.
The latest unrest was provoked by Israel. They murdered a young boy and the Palestinians were justifiably angry. It was Israel who broke the peace deal brokered by Egypt.
It suits the popular narrative to have Israel as the hard done by nation having to put up with all these terrorist attacks, but it is an inacurate picture.
Day in day out Palestinians are losing their own land, being denied access to imports, and all the while being aggressively policed and bullied by illegal occupiers. The truth is that Israel is an apartheid state and just like in South Africa it is taking an awfully long time for the narrative to alter its position. We were all good friends with South Africa until eventually it was untenable, with Israel it is harder because of the US Jewish lobbies.
Re: Oh those poor Palestinians
So miles, you see nothing wrong with the Palestinians faking this stuff?

This would be embarrassing enough were it an isolated incident but repeated clunky and clumsy use of metaphors like this riddle your posts and betray your own deeply held prejudice. Yours is the popular narrative a world where the oppressors are on one side and the civilian population are pawns to be used for point scoring. Do you really think that Israeli and Palestinians want to live in a never ending war? They want to get on with their lives and the anger on both sides at military actions that prevent that is justifiable. Do you not see the irony of your own position in which you denounce a democratic western system that you have lived under your whole life whilst mysteriously making the hundreds of Iranian made rockets fired into Israel disappear? Is Israel at war with any other countries in the region? Do you not think that indicates that they want to be left in peace?

Thats a balanced view. They are both as bad as each other. There is no possible justification in backing any of the killing of women kids and other innocents on either side.
Old men will say "Oh well that is the price of war" and other bull shit to clear their minds; it isnt the price of war its the price of them financing and voting for hell on Earth at others expense.

It is a valid statment and holds true. Gaza is in essence a large concentration camp. You fit large numbers of people together, deny them basic living standards and keep guard over them. The only thing missing is the gas chambers, but Israel employs different means of enforcing coercion and control over the Gazan camp. Periodic massacres typically suffice when resistance occasionally breaks out.
The solution is obvious. 1967 borders as agreed by the leaders of most of the globes population. Unfortunately for Israel they would have to take down settlements that have been built in 45% of the Palestinian land, they would also need to hand back water resources and in truth, they really don't want a fair settlement. Palestine is once again going to the UN for the granting of statehood. Just watch who veto's or abstains. The same deadly duo who are opposed to peace.
Re: Oh those poor Palestinians
67 borders? Israel won their land they earned it why give it back because it won't appease the Palestinian rats

The British gave them that land. They were burning in ovens and being skinned alive prior to that ... no one wanted those cancerous fiends
Poor poor Jews ... being skinned alive and experimented on by daddy Hitler .. .clearly faked ... staged ... a facade
Feeling high and mighty using British and American weapons to murder and commit countless atrocities but its a "holocaust" when they are on the receiving end.

Ive heard some people actually believe that the holocaust was faked for real.
I find that fascinating.
Which makes me ask,how did they make all those thousands of skeletons for all the old films that the Gi's took? The piles of clothes the gold teeth found in reserves? The films the Germans themselves took of lining up people over trenches; you've seen the footage.
Which would also make the Nuremberg trails also wholly falsified in order to prosecute the leaders from their own documented evidence and films?
Where are all the missing relatives of these Jews who forged their deaths?
I really want to know the answers from someone who claims its falsified.
