Re: David Haye - Retiring?
Haye does not deserve a rematch after the Wlad performance, the only way he can do it is to beat Vitali. As poor at Vitali has been lately he would never come in poor against Haye, he will smash Haye like he did Peters and adamek.
Re: David Haye - Retiring?
Haye knows he cant beat Wlad,he is after one more payday against a old Vitali.

I think his plan is if he fights like he did against valuev and pot shot against an aging and slow Vitali he can pull off the upset. Wlad would then have to fight him, so he gets 2 pay days.
Re: David Haye - Retiring?
I hope Vitali flattens him.
Re: David Haye - Retiring?
Legacy and financially wise, there isn't anyone else out there that will match the rewards that the Klitschkos will give him, so it don't make much sense to fight anyone else. Unless he wants to go after Povetkin's belt.

If matched right he can steal thunder from the K bros. Povetkin, Adamek, Huck and Banks could make him millions and could set up another lucrative payday for him. And put Fury or Price on the undercards to setup a future UK showdown.
Re: David Haye - Retiring?
David Haye is one of my favorite fighters. I hope he fights again in 2013. Europe is where all the action is in boxing. I want to see him fight Vitali if his punk ass will fight Haye.

Those are my thoughts. In my opinion, he would be the favorite against pretty much every other heavyweight, not named Klitschko. Even if the Vitali fight pays him the most, he could probably make the same amount of money fighting two or three other heavyweights that he would be favored to beat.
Re: David Haye - Retiring?
He should fight Tyson Fury. I would love to see what Fury is made of.

lol he's cowering away and making excuses presently
if he doesn't then it will be recorded in the annals of boxing history that Vitali Klitschko DUCKED a guy, who according to him (or his brother, I can't remember who said this) "isn't a real heavyweight."
Re: David Haye - Retiring?
That Haye can potentially still make a big money fight shows how desperate heavyweight boxing fans are nowadays. IMO, he lost any bargaining power he had with his disgraceful showing against Wlad. What was already obnoxious trashtalking before the Wlad fight, is now empty, obnoxious trashtalking. Either shut up and keep busy against credible opposition... or go ahead and retire.
