It's all part of an exchange of ideas, where we get to know each other's likes and dislikes.
I honestly can't understand why anyone would give a flying fuck about someone saying "that's boring"... I've become a bit jaded, well more than a bit, but even in my prime I wasn't that pathetic.

Expressing one's opinion about something is pathetic?
I think pathetic would be taking others' opinions seriously enough to affect one's own preferences.
It's a thread about boring sports, not a referendum on world peace.
BTW, I forgot curling. It's boring as all hell.

I quite like curling actually, it's only on during the Olympics, but it's one of the few Olympic sports that is ok to watch.....now poker on tv, that blows

I would echo that sentiment.
Re: Most boring sports on TV
Snooker can be boring. Cricket definitely. Grand Prix is the worst.
Re: Most boring sports on TV
I've tried a few times to get into football(American) but just can't, there isn't enough action to keep me tuned in and it becomes boring. Football is like 10-20 seconds of action then 5 minutes of standing around.
Hockey is where the action is!
Re: Most boring sports on TV
Golf played is fun. Golf being viewed will make you narcoleptic. Poker is not a sport. Nothing more sad than watching a bunch of sunglass wearing 'Characters' glad in ugly endorsment labeled hats and shirts sit around and try to out smirk one another.
Womens softball passes as one of the more tolerable boring sports. Oh....Nascar ??? See Poker ^ ;D
Re: Most boring sports on TV
I enjoy playing pretty much any sport I've tried. As far as watching on TV, I watch soccer and boxing. Everything else is pretty boring. I surprise myself when I watch the Olympics, I'll watch archery or speed walking all day and for some reason it's not boring. I think a big part of TV entertainment value for me is what's at stake.

Ice Hockey is something I would like to get into. Don't think we get any coverage of hockey over here on the TV though.
