Re: Quitali Clinchko DUCKS Haye
Has Vitali retired? Why? There's easy money on the table for him... Whupping pretenders like Haye? ???
Vitali hasn't faded and Haye is an easy win and no worse an opponent than the rest of the garbage he's fought. Why not retire on an easy win and a good pay day? It might just be his biggest win since Danny Williams!

I agree aint nobody out there to beat Vit right now for a long ways down the road as far as Im seein'.
Re: Quitali Clinchko DUCKS Haye
Vitali can retire whenever he wants to, he's had a long career amateur boxing, kickboxing, and boxing. He's won titles, defended titles, there are no losses he can avenege, there's not much left for him to achieve in the sport. He wants to pursue politics in a country that is pretty damned dangerous....more power to him.
David Haye had his chances....several of them. David Haye is younger, fresher, and yet he makes the choice to NOT take advantage of that by becoming "David Haye Reality TV star" as opposed to fighting his way back to a title shot.
Also I find it amusing that a Mike Tyson fan mocks Vitali Klitschko for "quitting" when he had a torn rotator cuff....Mike Tyson never "quit" did he? Not in the rematch vs Holyfield, not vs Danny Williams, not vs McBride....that Mike Tyson that fought Danny Williams was 38 years old (and about 39 when he lost to McBride). Vitali is the WBC Champion and is 41 years old...he can retire as he sees fit, Hell Tyson could have retired when he wanted to because he accomplished so much, but it's beside the point. The point is show some fucking respect for a Champion who has accomplished as much as Vitali has.

Yup. The guy has been on a noticeable slide since Kevin Johnson even though he keeps winning. Says more about the division I suppose. Hayes speed would cause him grief.
Re: Quitali Clinchko DUCKS Haye
It would be up "toe" Haye and make the fight happen... :p
Re: Quitali Clinchko DUCKS Haye
I "toe-tally" see Vitaly winning this...
Re: Quitali Clinchko DUCKS Haye
Haye would have "toe" really fight this time...
Re: Quitali Clinchko DUCKS Haye
We all know that Haye is the absolute biggest fraud in boxing.
But the point is that Vitali promised that he would fight him and now he's dishonoring what he said before.

Vitali is ducking Haye into retirement
And you guys are all behind him just because Haye is a fraud only looking for cash
We know that about Haye, but why isn't the fact that Vitali promised to fight him being brought up??
Re: Quitali Clinchko DUCKS Haye
I wonder if the irony that Lennox Lewis retired after promising Vitali a rematch is lost on Vitali.
It's not quite the same (Vitali gave Lewis a hell of a fight), but I'd hope that after not letting it go all this time over Lewis, Vitali will now realise that you can say you'll fight this guy and that guy but sooner or later there comes a time when every fighter gets old and the smart thing (and probably hardest) is to say it's a day.
For years Lewis had people saying he was scared to rematch Vitali and was a quitter. I doubt the 'Vitali ducked Haye' jibes will last as long... I just hope they give Vitali an understanding that it wasn't easy for Lewis to call time when he did either.
Re: Quitali Clinchko DUCKS Haye
p.s. has he actually retired? You'd think that there'd be english news posts up by now? ???
