Arthur Mercante Sr., the ref for that fight, would beg to differ. The first Ali-Frazier fight did indeed take a lot out of Frazier, and probably represented Frazier's peak. That being said, I think a peak Frazier still gets knocked out by the 1973 George Foreman. Just maybe not in the second round.

peak Frazier on March 8 1971 would get KO'ed by George in 6 rounds tops.

Ali destroyed Frazier's career on March 8, 1971.
Frazier destroyed Ali's career (or let's say HEALTH) on March 8, 1971.

That was the best heavyweight fight of all time, there is no fight better than that.
